Base and face. |
// BASE + FACE // When
Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter #4 (reviewed HERE):
Still my base/primer of choice, this gives my skin an “extra something,” each and every time I use it.
Giorgio Armani Power Fabric Foundation Balm #6 (reviewed HERE):
I have hit pan (just a glint of silver at the bottom of the compact) with this favorite foundation formula and will be purchasing a backup soon; it’s natural yet glowy coverage and lasting finish are deeply appreciated and I wish not to be without this.
Sisley-Paris Eye Concealer #3:
Skincare benefits and significant crease-free coverage in a single tube, this creamy concealer covers everything (dark circles, be gone!) while looking like nothing on the skin and, correct me if I’m wrong but that’s precisely what we want a concealer to do, right?
*Sisley-Paris Photo Touche Sun Glow Bronzing Gel Powder (reviewed HERE):
Upon first glance, this may seem like a traditional (albeit breathtakingly beautiful) powder but once the silky texture hits the skin, it morphs into a smooth gel-like veil of extremely flattering warmth. I use it so much that I am on my second compact…highly lauded across the Internet and oft-sold out, this bronzer is brilliant along the hollows of cheeks and the perimeters of the face.
*Sisley-Paris L’Orchidee Highlighter Blush in Coral (reviewed HERE):
I recently rediscovered this stunning blush and am ultra pleased with the natural peach glow it lends to the apples of my cheeks. The tri-layered powder features a melange of coordinating shades for a believable flush that makes skin look lit-from-within.
*Westman Atelier Superloaded Tinted Higlighter in Peau de Peche (reviewed HERE):
I patted a touch of this gorgeous and unique highlighter on the high points of my face and I always make sure to blend a touch in the center of my forehead for extra dimension.
*Koh Gen Do Gloss Film Powder #123 (reviewed HERE):
Just a touch in my t-zone to set everything for the entire day, this powder is a daily staple for me.

*Nude Envie Eyeshadow in Desire (reviewed HERE):
This rosy neutral is always in my arsenal and served as an easy base for the shadow to come. Seriously…get this and you’ll wonder what you ever did without it.
*SUQQU Designing Eye Palette #125:
Brand new for summer, this LE quad features four silky shades reminiscent of a pink-toned tropical sunset. I like to use the apricot pink and candy pink shades all over my lids and blend the luminous quartz tone up to my brows (it’s so incandescent that it almost has a wet look) The deep black shade takes everything to the next level and also doubles as a liner should you wish. As of post date, this palette is still in stock but I would act quickly if you love these hues as much as I do.
*Givenchy Liner Disturbia (also available at Sephora):
I am stunned by the formidable longevity of this liner; it purports 24-hour wear and I am apt to believe the claims. It glides on with precision and leaves behind a lush jet black line that doesn’t smear, flake or migrate, even when eyes water (which mine were doing like crazy while camping). Very impressed!
*SUQQU Eyelash Mascara 01 Black:
Two coats of this fresh formula coats lashes in volume and length and the tubing effect ensures it will stay in place yet come off easily with remover. So good.
*Clé de Peau Beauté Radiant Liquid Rouge lip color in 103 Nectar, 108 Midnight Dew and 01 Sepia (currently available at Clé de Peau Beauté and soon to be available at Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus). I wanted to be able to show you a bright matte, a deep shine and a universal neutral in the images at the end of this post and chose these shades accordingly.

// STYLE NOTES //
Madewell Mens Crewneck Sweatshirt:
I ordered this in a size medium earlier this month and have worn it no less than 8 times since then; it’s soft and warm and undeniably classic.
Floral slip dress:
I love a good dress and sweatshirt situation in the summer as it’s equal parts effortless and versatile. HERE
As neutral as one can get, these comfortable flats work well with dresses and shorts alike and will be on my feet constantly over the next few months.
Pearl barrette:
This accessory instantly adds a bit of flair to one’s hair…Somewhere Haute has an impressive array of options in this realm.
