First Look: The By Terry Game Lighter Palettes + Glow Expert Duo Sticks for Spring 2018

A first look at By Terry Spring 2018.
This week has been exceptionally crazy! Between multiple beauty events and the chaos of packing and moving (to say nothing of starting the spring semester next week) it’s all I can do to maintain a minimum level of composure.
That being said, I couldn’t let another day, dear readers, go by without showing you the wonder that is the new By Terry Spring 2018 Collection. Although you’ve already met the magnificent mascara (detailed HERE), you must now become acquainted with two new eyeshadow palettes and a trio of *Glow Expert Sticks in sculpting, skin flattering shades.
Kindly scroll on for more details, swatches and images of the products in action as well as the Bottom Line…
The By Terry Game Lighter Palettes have holographic

Up first are the glorious new *By Terry Game Lighter Palettes (also available at Saks) in 01 Fun Tasia (radiant pastels…editorial yet wearable) and 02 Pixi Nude (neutrals with an edge). Housed in a slender compact with chic holographic detailing, these palettes feature a quintessential balance of five creamy matte shades offset by a coordinating metallic center for seemingly infinite looks. Those who like to walk the line between matte and luminosity will find the Game Lighter Palettes to be a hero product with immense versatility.

As you’ll be able to ascertain from the swatches below, the finely milled shadows have stunning composition and impressive color payoff (I only did a single pass for each shade). Additionally, the formula feels smooth, buttery and blendable and wears like a dream–without creasing–for hours on end.

Of course, because I gravitate towards a warm and bronzy eye as naturally as I breathe, I am partial to the neutral 02 Pixi Nude (worn at the end of this post) but 01 Fun Tasia is truly beautiful as well and I can’t wait to experiment with–perhaps with a 1960s cat eye and a mod lip–it in the days to come.

Overall, I am so completely smitten with the the *By Terry Game Lighter Palettes and cannot recommend them enough…I am confident that they will be a massive hit for both By Terry devotees and the beauty community at large!

More By Terry 2018 newness.
In addition to the palettes, By Terry Spring 2018 also delivers three new shades of the *Glow Expert Duo Sticks (also available at Saks). These creamy sticks possess two contrasting cheek shades designed to add flush, dimension and highlight to one’s face in a single swipe. The formula is lightweight, buildable and infinitely buildable, lending a lit-from-within veil of flattering color that’s effortlessly beautiful and exceptionally portable.
  • 04 Cream Melba is a lovely blush and highlight option for fair skin tones and also works as a softly lit rosy highlighter for medium and dark skin tones.
  • 05 Beach Glow is a gorgeous bronzer and pale pink blush for light and medium skin tones but would also look stunning as a bronzy highlight on darker skin tones.
  • 06 Copper Coffee is a radiant tan and tawny combination for medium and dark skin tones.

I like to gently sculpt (hollows of cheekbones and perimeters of face) with 06 Copper Coffee, focus 05 Beach Glow on my cheeks as a subtle blush and use 04 Cream Melba on the high points of my face as a glowing highlighter. With a light foundation base and these three sticks, my entire face takes less than five minutes!

Finally, I sang the praises of the *By Terry Lash Expert Twist Mascara (reviewed HERE) in my previous post but, if you are still on the line about trying yet another mascara formula, implore you to consider giving this one a try…both my mom and I are convinced that it is the best mascara we have ever tried (and we’ve tried a lot).

The Fun Tasia palette just popped up on my radar when I was looking for bright mattes. Of course you have a review with fabulous swatches! Have any other suggestions for bright mattes?
