Modern Classics for March: A Sisley-Paris LE Exclusive and New SUQQU Complexion Launches

First up is the *Sisley-Paris Rachel Goodwin x Les Stars Collection. The limited-edition bag features a gorgeous illuminating primer, incandescent highlighter, lash-bolstering mascara, universally neutral cream eyeshadow and ultra-flattering lip color, along with deluxe samples of a leg contour oil and cult-favorite mask. Nestled in a stunning red bag with a mid-century geometric design, the collection–curated by famed makeup artist Rachel Goodwin–is only available during the month of March.
Official details, courtesy of Sisley-Paris:
Inspired by the vibrant spirit of Los Angeles and the classic glamour of Hollywood’s most iconic night, Rachel Goodwin has personally chosen a collection of seven skin care and makeup must-haves that help her create the iconic looks sported by her celebrity clients during their biggest career moments.

The set includes:

Sisley-Paris Instant Eclat (reviewed HERE and also available at Neiman Marcus)

This glowing primer bathes skin in light while delivering masterful skincare benefits. I love wearing it alone on good skin/minimal makeup days and it always is the perfect brightening companion for whatever foundation I happen to be wearing.

Sisley-Paris Phyto-Blush Twist in 04 Glow (reviewed HERE and also available at Nordstrom)

Portable and utilitarian, this creamy highlighter adds an enviable luminosity to the skin without the slightest hint of overt shimmer. I love applying it to the high points of my face and along my brow bone for additional dimension.

Sisley-Paris Phyto-Eye Twist in 01 Topaze (also available at Nordstrom)

Perhaps one of the most quintessentially flattering neutral eyeshadows on the market, this radiant taupe tone can be sheered out or layered for maximum impact. Once the formula sets, it does not budge, making it crease resistant and even waterproof (in my experience!).

Sisley-Paris So Volume Mascara (reviewed HERE and also available at Nordstrom)

I love this mascara…two coats adds immense volume and depth with a healthy dose of lengthening for good measure. It wears beautifully and removes easily…what else could you want?!

Sisley-Paris Photo-Lip Twist in 15 Nut (also available at Nordstrom)

I am an ardent fan of this particular lip formula (#11 Sugar is a baby pink holy grail for me) but had never tried Nut until playing with this set. It’s a “my lips but better” neutral that has just enough brown, red and nude to look incredible on a spectrum of skin tones and brightens the face for a polished effect that doesn’t over power.

Sisley-Paris Black Rose Cream Mask (also available at Nordstrom)

I use this luxurious mask 2-3 times a month to deliver hydration and glow to my complexion; it’s a cult-favorite for a reason…it truly delivers results!

Sisley-Paris White Ginger Contouring Oil for Legs (reviewed HERE and also available at Nordstrom)

My constant companion when traveling, this oil revives tired legs (and reduces post-flight swelling!) while bathing skin in lightweight and nourishing moisture. It must be tried to be believed.

New complexion launches from SUQQU.

SUQQU

SUQQU Radiant Cream Concealer

Earlier this month, SUQQU launched two brilliant new complexion essentials that subtly perfect and refine one’s canvas. Housed in an ever so portable click brush applicator, the *SUQQU Radiant Cream Concealer features lush medium to full coverage opacity and a radiant finish that looks like really good skin. Excellent for the orbital area and anywhere a shadow should be converted to light, this formula comes in three shades (I received two). The golden neutral N-02 (my best match…worn in the images at the end of this post) will work for most complexions in the light-medium-tan range and the other two shades are great for fair to light skin.

SUQQU Retouch Pressed Powder

Additionally, the brand released the *SUQQU Retouch Pressed Powder, which flew of the shelves the minute it became available. The slim dual-pan has a finely-milled brightening powder with medium coverage for setting makeup and mid-day touch ups and and a multi-colored luminous powder for a demure glow. Applied separately or together, both powders contribute to fresh and perfected canvas that looks bright and lit-from-within.  01 Porcelain is apropos for fair-light skin tones and 02 Glow (my best match) works well for light-medium-tan skin tones.
Both product launches are destined to become complexion staples that are well worth the pursuit!

Other things…

// OTHER THINGS ON MY FACE // Base, face and brow go-to’s.

*Sisley-Paris Phyto-Blanc Cushion Foundation in 03

I use this as a brightening base and am impressed by how porcelain it makes my skin look; it is a beautiful fusion of sheer color and potent skincare benefits.

*Sisleya Le Teint Anti-Aging Foundation in Linen (all shades swatched and reviewed HERE)

I blended a single pump of this light-medium coverage foundation all over my face with a dampened beauty blender for a fresh and seamless effect.

*Sisley-Paris Tinted Sunscreen in Golden (reviewed HERE)

I added just a touch of this magnificent tinted sunscreen–which has fabulous coverage, I might add–for additional complexion refinement. When it gets warmer and sunnier, I love using this as a complete foundation…it’s that good.

Tom Ford Fiber Brow Gel in Chestnut

Never not on my brows, this setting gel adds color and volume while looking completely natural.

Style notes.
// STYLE NOTES // This outfit–perfect for the seasonal transition–is casual and endlessly comfortable…I’ll be wearing some version of this on heavy repeat on days when I’m home with Johannah.
  • Oversized Black Tee: I ordered this delightful Amazon find in a medium as I love an oversized look…the tee is weighty and super soft…I also bought one in pale pink. No regrets!
  • Olive Bike Shorts: These cotton-spandex wonders come in an array of colors…they are slimming, opaque and breathable. I am wearing a size small and it’s perfect.
  • Nike Airmax 270: I have 3 pairs of these divine tennis shoes and will likely continue to pick up more in my future. They are some of the most comfortable shoes I have ever encountered and I consequently recommend them constantly.
