Above: Rouge Bunny Rouge Succulence of Dew Lipsticks…natural beauty embodied.
My adoration for the enchantment that is the Rouge Bunny Rougeline has been demonstrated time and again (reviews HERE, HERE and HERE, for example). That being said, I am excited to share my latest acquisitions from this gorgeous independent European line…the freshly-released Succulence of Dew Lipsticks. The quality and whimsy with which each Rouge Bunny Rouge product is excecuted makes for sheer delight and these lipsticks are no exception!
Kindly scroll on for a sneak peek at the Rouge Bunny Rouge Succulence of Dew Lipsticks, images of the lip color in action as well as the Bottom Line…

The new Succulence of Dew Lipstick now comes in a weighty, all black case with subtle floral embellishment…this fresh design brings a sleek energy to the Rouge Bunny Rouge line and I, for one, am enchanted with this design choice.
From a formula perspective, the lip color is highly-pigmented but applies in a sheer, but buildable, manner. They possess a slightly shiny finish that is devoid of all signs of shimmer…refreshing, to say the least! The lipstick smoothly glides onto the lips, leaving them looking lush and healthy and I appreciate the fact that the staying power is formidable (4-5 hours with the darker shades), especially for a sheerer texture.
Finally, the Succulence of Dew formula (which is made in Italy) is very moisturizing; the emollient properties protect the lips from dryness while still feeling relatively weightless over the course of wear. This is easily one of the most perfect semi-sheer lipstick formulas I have in my vast collection!
The five shades I tried were:
Perfume of His Gaze: A mid-toned mauve beige for a new take on a 90’s neutral nude lip…polished and sophisticated in one swipe.
Murmurings: A deep rose-nude-brown…this leans slightly warm to flatter an array of skintones and will likely translate as a MLBB (My Lips But Better) shade on most.
Musings: A peachy pink confection that, of course, is a favorite. It is light enough to satisfy my penchant for pinky nudes while having enough pigment to impart a “pop of color” effect.
Jasmine-Weighted Air: A vibrant fuchsia pink that leans cool and almost ultra-violet in nature. The fact that it applies sheerly, however, ensures its wearability.
Relish of Heaven: A bold coral-meets-red that has a brightening effect on the face and whitening effect on the teeth. Even though it is the deepest shade of the five (and I tend to be a die-hard nude lover), I was instantly smitten with this wearable crimson the moment I applied it!

Above: Brimming with hydration, the new Rouge Bunny Rouge Kiss Elixir is excellent alone or as a smoothing and moisturizing lipstick base.
I applied each shade over the new Rouge Bunny Rouge Kiss Elixir (also reviewed HERE), an extremely moisturizing lip balm with a non-sticky cushiony texture and slightly shiny finish. There is just enough slip in this lush, unscented salve to make it an excellent base for lipstick, though I am partial to slathering it on liberally whenever the notion strikes!
Above: The Kiss Elixir comes in an easy-to-maneuver squeeze tube.
Above: A swatch of the Kiss Elixir Lip Balm…it is perfectly clear with a slightly jelly, entirely non-sticky finish.
Above: Swatches of all five shades in direct sunlight.
Above: Swatches in outdoor lighting…I adore how true to color these from bullet to swatch.
Above: Swatches (two light coats applied) of all five shades on my lips.
The following images reflect all five lip colors on my lips…
Bottom Line: I hope you enjoyed this overview of the fresh and gorgeous Rouge Bunny Rouge Succulence of Dew Lipstick. This lip color formula is an exemplary option for those seeking subtly beautiful style, rich and shiny pigmentation and endlesly effective performance! **Succulence of Dew Lipstick is a PRsample provided for review (the rest purchased by me), however, as always, all of my opinions are expressly and unequivocally my own.
I received Murmurings by mistake and it was the best order mistake ever. I love it so much; the texture is just so soft for the humidity of where I live so I have to be extra careful when applying!
Wait! You got rain in SoCal?!!! So jealous. We're back to being dry here in NorCal.
These are all so beautiful. I can feel the pain in my wallet growing as my desire for more than one color grows.
I can't find these on their new U.S. website yet. I love Rouge Bunny Rouge, and I'm excited to try the new lipsticks. When I tried them a few years ago they were too soft, and I didn't care for the scent. It looks like these are free of fragrance. Looking forward to the Omorovicza post, too!
Take care,
Jaimie
The names of each shade sound like romance novels! :p Still, that doesn't make the natural-looking color & moist-looking texture in this range of lipsticks any less appealing.
I know this may be a long-shot, give RBR is an indie European line, but have you seen any tester displays to try in a brick-and-mortar store?
I think your best bet will be on the east coast, but certain salons/spas carry the line. They have a store-finder on their website, but I remember reading not too long ago that a store opened up on the east coast with all of the collection.
Are you sure these are available to purchase in the States? I go to the link and leads me to the british version, I add the shades I want to my cart, but as I change reguon they fissapear. If I look for them in the US version of the website I can only find the Sheer version of these… Help anybody?

Customer Service said these are on their way to the U.S. and should be available in a couple of weeks.
I just received word from my RBR contact to corroborate this…she said it would be two weeks or so!

Does that mean Fluttering Sighs will no longer be available after they do the full roll-out of the revamped collection?
I sure hope not…I love Fluttering Sighs as well (though Musings is a reasonable, albeit pinker, replacement).

Hope that helps!
