**Update 4/10/15…the coveted Dior Coral Lip Glow is back in stock at Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom and Sephora! Here is a quick visual ode to the trepidatious-to-locate Christian Dior Lip Glow Color Revival Balm in Coral #04. A limited-edition Spring 2014 release back in January, this vibrant departure from the standard pink Lip Glow (which morphs to a very bright, hot pink on my lips in no more than three seconds) is actually more wearable for me…the coral tone is sophisticated and decidedly pretty.
Kindly scroll on for swatches and images of the Dior Coral Lip Glow in action as well as the Bottom Line…
Above: What is bright orange in the bullet, is a restrained, sheer corally-pink on the lips.
Retailing for $32, this formula is extremely hydrating; one swipe and my lips are enveloped in a cushiony balm that lasts for hours. The scent is subtle…simultaneously sweet and slightly minty and the initial pale peach deepens to a lush, sheer coral pink in mere minutes. It’s the quintessential hybrid of lip care and pronounced color!
Here’s the official word from Sephora:
What it is:
A sheer balm that enhances your natural lip color while moisturizing and protecting the skin.
What it does: Awaken and enhance the natural beauty of your lips with this unique balm. Formulated with color reviver technology, this silky lipstick reacts with the chemistry of your lips to create a special shade that will last all day. The addition of SPF 10 will keep you protected, while hydrating mango butter and loofah extract nourish for beautiful, luscious lips.

Above: This is easy to casually swipe on the lips…no mirror required!
When I am in the mood for something a bit more creamy and pale, I like to add a touch of Tom Ford Nude Vanille or Marc Jacobs Strange Magic to create the perfect baby coral pink lip.

Bottom Line: The fact that the Dior Coral Lip Glow (now available at Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom and Sephora as of 4/10/15) sold out in a matter of less than two months demonstrates that consumers were ready for a new incarnation of this hydrating, transformative wonder. I hope that Dior pays heed to this undeniable demand and decides to make Coral 04 a permanent member of the Christian Dior family…it’s just that pretty! I wish you the best in tracking this shade down…as we beauty lovers well know, the Internet is a cornucopia of opportunity when it comes to procuring even the most elusive of limited-edition beauty products.
xoxo and have a lovely week…Eve Lom Lift Foundation (with swatches galore!) is slated to go live on Tuesday ; )
I am a long time follower and have found your blog indispensable for the never-ending quest for the perfect foundation (at one point, I had 18 of them). The biggest bonus is that I hover at around NC25! Your latest batch of photos, like the last three posts, show much more clearly the beautiful finish and application of your face base. Would you consider mentioning – on those non-foundation posts – what you've used? This particular post is a perfect example. I can't handle a pale lip myself but I'd love to know which foundation in your collection you've used here. LOVE YOUR BLOG!
Thanks for the kind note…I appreciate you being a loyal follower of the BP blog and am so happy you've found it helpful, especially as a fellow foundation lover ; )
With regards to your question, I am afraid that the answer is somewhat complicated: In the images in this post, I am wearing a foundation that I mixed myself, comprised of a bit of Suqqu Frame Fix in 002, Kanebo Sensai Cellular Performance Cream Foundation in #22 Natural Beige, a bit of Ardency Inn Custom Coverage Concentrate in Light-Medium Olive and a touch of By Terry CC Lumi-Serum in #01. I just put all the ingredients in a little sample pot and mix it up with a mini-spatula. Because my skin is at its lightest right now, I have to get creative when it comes to a shade match. Plus, mixing formulas is fun ; )
I hope that helps and thank you for loving my blog!!!

It looks so orange in the tube but what a pretty subtle pink on your lips. And Jethro is adorable!
Hi Shireen,
Thank you ever so much!! The color is indeed deceptive ; ) Jethro is such a little picture hound…he loves photo-bombing!
xoxo and have a lovely week,
