I have been a fan of the Edward Bess line for years now…this elegantly streamlined exclusive collection has produced one of my
first cream foundations (!) and some of my
favorite lipstick shades ever. The fact that the creator of said line is equal parts gorgeous and charming makes for a double treat! I recently had the chance to try the Edward Bess
“Edward’s Best” Palette which, as expected, does not disappoint!

Above and below: Wearing the limited-edition “Candid Affair” alone on the lips…this creamy nude peach is the quintessential neutral shade and I hope that Edward Bess releases a full-sized lipstick version in the very near future!
Bottom Line: The

Thank you, Sylvia and yes, combining the shades will result in even more gorgeous shades. Let the mix party begin ; )

Here's your laugh of the day: I skimmed the actual READING part of the article because I got so excited about the palette. Um, I thought it was BLUSHES!
I was dying with lust for it even though I know I have a zillion blushes (I'm almost as addicted to them as I am eyeshadows). As I was going back through the text looking for a price I see that they are lipsticks! Whew! Luckily I don't like potted lipsticks and am Saved. Ok, now you can tell Edward to make the same colors IN BLUSH. ; )
Big hug dear friend, Susan
Hello Susan,
What a joy to hear from you! Thank you for your comment…it totally made me laugh (in the best possible way!). I completely see how the palette could look like blushes…they likely could be wonderful cream blushes should one choose to use them in that manner ; )
I hope all is well with you dear friend…have a gorgeous weekend and talk soon…xoxo,

Hello,
I to thought what a gorgeous collection on blushes when I first saw the photo.
They are really nice selection of colours and could only imagine the beautiful and unique colours that could result in mixing them.
How much is in each colour? Would the pans last very long?
Also I have finally ordered By Terry Cover Expert in shade 8, Hourglass Ambient Powder in Diffused Light and just bought home the Revlon Colorstay Whipped foundation in Warm Golden that you reviewed and liked.
Needless to say I am very very excited to try my new purchases but my purse is not very excited 🙂
I hope your weekend is off to a lovely start,
My eldest son Boston was 9 today, so there's been lots of joyful present opening today.
Talk soon
Julie xox
Hellow Julie,
They do look like blushes…I agree ; ) The pans are quite generous…the packaging says ".99 ounces x 8 lipsticks" and I imagine they will last a great while!
So excited for your By Terry and Hourglass order as well as your recent Revlon acquisition…your face is in good hands, indeed! Happy happy birthday wishes to Boston…have a beautiful Monday and talk soon!
xoxo,

Hi! How long lasting are these would you say?
Thanks!
Hello Anon,
I get three to four hours of wear before needing to reapply with this formula…they are hydrating, creamy and medium coverage. Just delightful!

Thanks so much! 🙂
