Not all hair straighteners are created equally…they may all get hot, but some are arduous to use, while others damage hair, leaving it dehydrated and vulnerable. The metal used for the plates, the way the plates are fashioned and situated and the heat that is generated all play parts in the potential efficacy of a straightener. Recently, I had the chance to try the Blowout Beauty Titanium 1″ Straightener. After my stellar experience with the
Blowout Beauty Professional Hairdryer, I couldn’t wait to experience this high-quality styling tool!

Here is what Hair Envy has to say about this straightener…
Sleek is chic — and with Blowout Beauty Titanium 1 Inch Professional Styling Iron, you can transform even the unruliest of tresses into silky-smooth perfection. Featuring floating 1-inch titanium plates and a ceramic heater, this revolutionary tool heats up to your ideal styling temperature in less than 60 seconds. Adjustable temperature control — from 160 to 400 degrees F — makes it suitable for any hair type and allows for a completely customized experience. A 9-foot swivel cord with 360-degree rotation makes this lightweight wonder easily maneuverable for the best results.

For the sake of full disclosure, my hair is naturally straight to begin with…I do, however, often use a straightener to smooth out my “go to bed with wet hair” aftermath and add some professional polish that will take me through the day. I wield this almost like I would a hairbrush; with every pass, my tangles and snarls magically disappear, resulting in silky, healthy, and fluid hair that moves!
|
Above: The straightener heats up very quickly (in a little over 30 seconds!) and has heat setting options for the most delicate of hair (at 160 degrees F), all the way to the heartiest of locks (like mine…I use the 400 degrees F option). A light blinks when it reaches the selected heat…this is innovative and convenient! |

The next few images reflect my hair immediately after having using the Blowout Beauty Titanium 1″Straightener…I spent about five minutes total, running the smooth plates through my freshly washed hair…this is truly a remarkable product!
Bottom Line: The Blowout Beauty Titanium Straightener is fantastic…the only other straightener I have liked as much is my GHD 1″! I love how quickly it heats up; within thirty seconds, the tool is hot enough to create the straightest of tresses. The suspended plates allow my hair to pass through with ease, yielding straight, silky and balanced locks in a matter of moments. After using this tool, my hair feels amazing…very healthy and lush. Additionally, the effects of the straightener last the entire day, until I wash my hair again. As of publish date, this appears to be
on sale at Hair Envy…if you are in the market for an ultra-effective straightener, I suggest taking a peek!

OT, but I love bracelets! I see you wear the Cartier but what is the other bracelet you have on? Love them.
I am new fan of your blog.
Gail
Hello Gail,
Thank you so much…one of my bracelets is indeed the Cartier Love bracelet and the other is my watch, which is a Swiss Army (square version).
So glad to hear that you'll be reading…have a lovely weekend!

Would you be willing to share who colors your hair?
Hi Anon,
Thanks for the question…I would be happy to tell you, except, I don't color my hair…it is naturally this color! That, however, was not always the case. For years, I colored my hair very dark brown (because I got tired of my hair being "two colors"…brown and blondish). Then, one day, I realized that I was spending a lot of time coloring it (every three weeks due to the light roots that would grow in) and decided to grow it out (which was an awkward and arduous process!).
I have kept it my natural, unmitigated color ever since!
Take care and have a wonderful week…xoxo,

Hmmm…interesting. I am thinking of trying it out for it seems like a good product to try out. I am been looking for a hair straightener that won't damage my colored hair too. I hope this is the one for me.
Hi Emmy!
Thanks for stopping by…the different temperature setting options makes this a great straightener for avoiding damage to hair of all types. I hope you like it!
Take care…xo,
