The instant that the glorious *Wayne Goss Lip Collection arrived on my doorstep The entire collection launches at Beautylish on 5/5/20 at 10AM PT), I couldn’t wait to swatch everything! I have followed Wayne for years and his beauty knowledge, sincerity and class are peerless in nature.
Consequently, it’s no surprise that his first foray into color cosmetics (his brushes already possess cult status amongst beauty enthusiasts) is just as classic yet modern as he is!

Introducing the Wayne Goss Lip Collection…Swatches of Every Shade!
At the center of the Wayne Goss Lip Collection are the Luxury Cream Lipsticks. The ten neutral shades feature a creamy satin sheen and buildable and bespoke opacity. A single pass yields sheer to light coverage for a fresh and slightly shiny look and two weightless layers create medium to full coverage that adds dimension and volume to one’s pout.
The formula is fragrance-free, hydrating and plush with significant lasting power and a beautiful, shimmer-free natural finish. All ten shades masterfully fulfill my nude lip dreams but the pinky coral nude Magnolia (worn in the images at the end of this post) is my warm weather go to…it’s simply divine.
Shades include:
- Camellia: Light peachy beige
- Dahlia: Warm pink peach
- Daisy: Classic pink beige
- Lotus: Deep pink brown
- Amaryllis: Medium neutral pink
- Magnolia: Soft petal pink

The Finish
Replete with creamy glaze and radiant, light-catching finishes, the Wayne Goss High Shine Gloss is an homage to the decadently neutral lips of the 90’s. The cooling mint-infused formula is intensely reflective and delightfully non-sticky.
Those seeking a my-lips-but-better minimalist effect will love the cream shades (namely Tulip, Hyacinth, Cherry Blossom and Petunia) and shimmering shades–pure liquid light, I tell you–will be the summertime sheen on everyone’s lips.
I can see all seven shades working their way into my makeup routine (they are that good) but was immediately over the moon for Hibiscus (worn in the images at the end of this post) for its instantaneous (optical) lip plumping properties…seriously, it made my lips look nearly double their natural size.

Finally, the *Wayne Goss Essential Lip Pencils features a creamy matte formula in five versatile shades for endless possibilities that pair beautifully with both the lipsticks and the glosses.
The pencil yields fabulous color payoff in a single swipe and wore comfortably and evenly for 7+ hours during my day of testing. All five hues are gorgeous and sure to be a hit with lip liner wearers and I am personally partial (of course) to the lighter neutral Vintage Pink, Mauve and Natural Berry.
