To put it simply, this post is focused on exactly three things: namely, the resplendent SUQQU A/W 2021 Collection, brand new Clé de Peau Beauté Radiant Fluid Foundation Natural (also available at Clé de Peau Beauté) and a green top that was love at first sight.
Kindly scroll on for more details, swatches and images of everything in action as well as the Bottom Line…
The SUQQU A/W 2021 Collection and Clé de Peau Radiant Fluid Foundation Natural
The *SUQQU A/W 2021 Collection just launched Selfridges and, if some or all of the pieces are sold out by the time you are reading this, rest assured that they will be available at Cult Beauty and Harrods beginning on August 20th, 2021.
Replete with autumnal tones found in nature and a brand new lipstick formula. This collection is exquisitely fresh and endlessly wearable. The textures blend like a second-skin dream. The tones are universally flattering, providing the wearer with looks that masterfully range from classic to creative.
For the Face
There are two limited-edition shades of Pure Color Blush: A rosewood-meets-apricot ombre confection #128 Kuchiha and a stunning tan brown brown #129 Fuyukadochi. Both are adeptly sculpt and warm up the complexion and blend into oblivion for a seamless finish.
There are also two limited-edition Tone Touch Eyes Eyeshadows (most shades in the permanent range swatched HERE) in a lush, duo chrome luminous finish that catches light in the most sophisticated way. #107 Yoishizuku is a green-tinged gold that instantly illuminates and #108 Akishizuku is a lilac pink with radiant undercurrent of blue and silver. Both are ultra finely milled with little to know fallout.
Although they are currently sold out at Selfridges, I suggest checking back frequently and also snapping them up the minute they become available at Cult Beauty and Harrods on 8/20.
Eye Shadows
Next, there are two limited-edition eye palettes in fall hues of epic proportions. The *SUQQU Signature Color Eyes in #106 Saegi features golden green and warm brown tones reminiscent of autumn leaves and #107 Tsuyukiri involves cool toned pinks and neutral tans for a modern, feminine effect.
Although they are currently sold out at Selfridges, I suggest checking back frequently and snapping them up the minute they become available at Cult Beauty and Harrods on 8/20.
Lipsticks
Finally, for lips please meet the brand new *SUQQU Sheer Matte Lipstick. This utterly weightless formulation comes in 13 shades that feel like absolutely nothing on the lips while bathing them in smooth, buildable color that borders the line between matte and delicately lucent. I was sent 01 Yamazakura, which is a perfect pinky beige (already on heavy rotation over here), 05 Shiinomi (a fresh burnished orange) and 10 Kogareaka, which is a rich reddish brown that effortlessly aligns with the cooler months ahead.
The geometric matte black cases are a work of art and it’s important to note that the chic caps are sold separately.
The following images reflect the new SUQQU A/W 2021 Collection and Clé de Peau Beaute Radiant Fluid Foundation Natural in action (keep scrolling for swatches and the full breakdown of the foundation)…
My Green Top
I found this green top at the end of a late-night shopping excursion and instantly became smitten with its vibrant hue and ruched styling. The grosgrain ribbon straps are adjustable and the zipper styling in the back adds some extra flair. It’s SO outside of my normal color palette (read: NEUTRALS) but that’s a part of the charm for me. I will be wearing it straight through summer and into fall, likely with a blazer over it. It runs TTS (I’m wearing a size small) and is completely comfortable…if you’re looking to brighten up your wardrobe with a new forever piece, I highly recommend this gem.
The Foundation
Finally, the Clé de Peau Beauté Radiant Fluid Foundation Natural (also available at Clé de Peau Beauté) has finally arrived! I’ve been testing it this summer and am so thrilled about this launch.
This medium coverage foundation imparts hydrating skincare benefits. It has a radiant finish that is soft-focus and radiant while having magnificent lasting power. It smoothes over skin. Also, it evens tone and blurring pores without settling into fine lines for a perfected result that looks preternaturally lovely.
The foundation comes in 24 shades. My current match, worn throughout this post is BF 50, in Ocher (warm to neutral) and Beige (neutral to rosy). Also, I match with Buff (golden olive) undertones to complement a wide range of complexions. I was able to swatch 23 of the 25 shades for you and I hope you find the direct sunlight and outdoor shade images helpful as you find your own match.
Clé de Peau Beauté makes some of the most beautiful bases on the market and the Clé de Peau Beauté Radiant Fluid Foundation Natural (also available at Clé de Peau Beauté) is no exception!
