I pre-ordered the
Lip Lacquer in Pink Lust (which retails for $30) because its peachy-pink hue aligns with everything I look for in a lip gloss…this rendition is extremely shiny, has a complex golden shimmer and a sheer rose gold shade that looks fetching alone (as reflected in the images in this post) or over lip color (as I recently tried in
my latest YouTube video).
The texture is extremely silky, hydrating and decidedly NOT sticky! I find the wear time of this non-scented wonder to be a couple of hours and reapplication is a joy. I love the way it brightens up the face without employing the use of overt frost and its versatility is making me wish I had picked up a back up ; )

Despite rarely being lured by the call of nail polish, I was compelled to pick up the
Nail Lacquer in Vapor last weekend…my penchant for clean, nude nails was fulfilled with one glance at this bright, clean, pearly white that looks like glowing pearls at the ends of one’s fingertips.
Also retailing for $30, I gave this purchase some thought, but am happy I succumbed to my desire because I know I will get a great deal of use out of it, especially since I only own a few nail polishes that I love. This shade is fool-proof…two coats and the ultra-shiny semi-opaque finish leaves nails looking pristine and refined. It is so pale and luminescent that wear and chips do not appear obvious and I have a feeling that this will look divine with a light summer tan!

The last three images feature the following products working in harmony:
Bottom Line: It took great restraint for me to only select two items from this collection. My love for the luxe quality and spectacular shades housed within the Tom Ford Beauty line knows no limits and I am confident that Pink Lust and Vapor will receive much attention and usage amongst my makeup menagerie in the coming summer months. Highly recommended!
Thoughts on the Tom Ford Summer Collection? What items are “must-haves” for YOU this summer?

I am so sorry…that is frustrating, Jessica! I even just called the Tom Ford counter where I bought mine and they confirmed they are sold out of everything. I tried ; )

Jessica,
I just got a note from one of my wonderful readers who said that she was able to pre-order her Tom Ford Summer 2013 products last night online at Saks! Apparently, that is the way to go…I recommend taking a peek at http://www.saksfifthavenue.com for options.
Have a great weekend and xo,
