Youngblood Demure Gloss

Youngblood lip gloss in Demure is sheer, milky pale peach with very subtle shimmer.

I recently had the chance to try out Youngblood cosmetics lipgloss in Demure, a pale peach concoction.  I have already had excellent experiences with Youngblood Mineral Foundation (reviewed HERE) and lip color (reviewed HERE), so my expectations were high for this unscented, cruelty-free lip product.

Demure is a lovely neutral to add shine and dimension to any lip color.

Note the extremely subtle shimmer in the formula…just enough to be illuminating.

Demure is so pretty…the formula of this particular shade is on the sheer side, but there is a lovely milky quality and the shimmer is so subtle that it looks glowing when worn alone on lips and adds fabulous dimension and sheen when worn over existing lip color.  The shade is closest to MAC C-Thru (a favorite from my college years) but nowhere near as sticky and I am sure that the YB ingredients are much more healthful.

The total effect!

Bottom Line:  The Youngblood lipgloss formula is just lovely…it is moisturizing, relatively non-sticky and wears for hours without feeling thick or cloying.  Demure is a perfect pale shade that adds shine and slight creaminess to every lip color.  Its subtle glow is remarkable!
