I selected Chesnut Milk Parfait (#26) which was serendipitously a perfect match for my skin tone…it is a light-medium yellow-based beige that does not oxidize. I also requested samples of the shades immediately lighter and darker than Chesnut Milk Parfait for reference and have included the swatches below and in the video review as well to help those who share a similar skin tone range.

Great post! Was wondering which foundation you would recommend for combination skin – RBR Foundation or by Terry Cover Expert? From your descriptions, both seem amazing and pack a punch with skincare benefits as well. Was wondering which would be better for combo.type that has an oiler t.zone and dryer cheeks.

I, too, would classify my skin as basically combination skin and am happy with both foundations for different reasons…
The By Terry is definitely a bit more obviously moisturizing…it has fuller coverage (which I think is helpful and protective, especially in the winter), a natural matte finish and doesn't seem to make me oiler or dryer with extended wear–I stay basically balanced.
The Rouge Bunny Rouge is medium coverage (a bit less full coverage than the By Terry) and goes on a little lighter and fluffier–it is less dense than the By Terry and doesn't seem to make me dryer or oilier over time, though I would say that it applies a little dewier initially.
I need to blot or lightly powder my t zone about halfway through the day when using either foundation…despite their minor differences in coverage and texture, they both seem to wear similarly.
In close, I think that either would probably be appropriate for your skin needs, but if you are looking for a bit lighter (but still clearly medium coverage) foundation for the spring and summer, then I suggest trying the Rouge Bunny Rouge. Also, if you order from Beautyhabit.com, you may want to ask for a sample of the shade you've selected so you can try it for couple of days before opening the actual product (they accept returns only if the product is completely unused)!

Nice post! You are so lucky that you found a Rouge Bunny Rouge foundation shade that works so well for you! So far the samples that I have tried have been a little too yellow on me– even those claiming to be more pink! I really like the formula a great deal- I would really like to find one that works for me!

That is too bad that you haven't found a match yet! I am guessing that the coconut milk was either too light or too yellow as well? All of the samples I was sent do seem a bit more yellow in undertone…maybe counteracting with a rose-toned primer could help balance things out? Sometimes I use the Koh Gen Do primers in yellow and lavender-pink (which was released in February) depending on the undertone of my foundation…but all that switching for compatibility's sake can make the mind reel : )
