My brother, Seth, and I are close. Close in age, with similar professions (we’re both educators by trade), we teach in classroom separated by no more than 100 yards and even live mere blocks apart. Although our sibling-hood is solidified through a mutual gene pool and our daily proximity, there are some key areas where we drastically differ…one such area is artistic talent. He possesses a natural penchant for painting (he created the unicorn present in the background of many of my
YouTube videos) and skillfully designing and handcrafting leather bags and accessories. I do not ; )
I have mentioned his amazing artisan bags on many occasions (found
HERE,
HERE and
HERE) and am thrilled to announce that Southern California locals will have the rare chance to experience his bags in person this weekend (9/7-8, 9AM-5PM) at the Seal Beach Arts & Crafts Festival.

Bottom Line: If you aren’t anywhere near Southern California, please take a peek at www.sethwegter.com to explore his many talents. However if you are indeed local, The Seal Beach Arts & Crafts Festival is always a delightfully fun event. I truly hope you are able to swing by the Art by Seth booth to say hello (I’ll be helping him all weekend)…it would be wonderful to see you!

P.S. On the blog soon…all the details for my Neiman Marcus Beauty Event at Fashion Island on 9/18, a review/ video focused on the wonderful indie line, MAKE Cosmetics, a second round of Office Hours, an homage to my latest pinky nude lip color acquisitions and yet another foundation review, this time from Ardency Inn (a brand new collection at Sephora)!

Hi there,
I just visited your brothers website and what beautiful bags he has. Very talented indeed. I love the Rachael and the W bags they are gorgeous. It's so great that you and your brother are close, I have ayounger brother and we hardly talk but when we do we both say we should should do it more often. He still lives in New Zealand and I'm in australia now so we don't see each other but it is good to talk.
Have a great weekend

Hello Julie,
So glad you were able to visit my brother's site…how fantastic! The W bag is one of my favorite options when I want to carry way more than I should ; ) How wonderful that you have a brother…I would imagine it would be challenging to stay super close when living in two different countries!
I hope your weekend is off to a wonderful start…xoxo and talk soon,

Hi Rachel!
Oh my gosh! I didn't know you guys taught together!! That is so cute! Your brother is very talented. I always love seeing his bags showcased on the blog. And I love that he made the unicorn. I love seeing it in your vids. So, you are both talented and ridiculously good-looking – there's no hope for the rest of us….le sigh. Lol.
I wish I lived near you so I could stop by and say hi. Alas, this long-distance "hello" will have to suffice. Have a great weekend, friend!
Xoxo,
Kate
Hello Kate,
Lovely to hear from you! It is so fun to teach at the same campus as my brother…he brings me coffee, I bring him snacks…we have a little system going! He is talented indeed…his ability to make what he does never ceases to amaze me. You are too sweet…thank you for the beyond generous compliment, though I wholly disagree with the "no hope for the rest of us" part, of course ; )
I wish you lived nearby too…what fun we'd have! I so appreciate the long distance hello nonetheless and hope all is well with you dear friend.
xoxo and talk soon,

I have admired his bags for a while, ever since I first saw one on your blog. *Someday* I will splurge and buy me one 🙂
Hello Krystal!

I agree with Kate about the movie star looks in you and your brother's genes. That Santa Fe bag is my to-die-for pick!
Oh my goodness…thank you so much for the generous compliment! The Santa Fe bag is so fantastic…he actually sold two this weekend and one of the girls who bought one said she was so excited to finally get this bag (she'd been eyeing it for awhile) that she felt like crying…adorable ; )
Hope your weekend was lovely…xoxo,

Dearest B.P,
How wonderful that you are supporting Seth this weekend and helping him out! Good luck at the Seal Beach Art n Crafts festival and have a great time!
I still have my eye on one of his beautiful sunglass cases and would like to eventually get a custom portrait of my cat Lucy:- who is a gorgeous ragdoll.
Hope you have a great week and catch up soon! xoxo
Hello dear Karen!
Thank you so much for your kind sentiments! Yesterday, he had a wonderfully steady stream of business and I am sure today will be the same!
His sunglass cases are divine…so chic yet useful and your cat sounds absolutely adorable…I am sure he could do Lucy justice ; )
I hope your weekend is going well and look forward to chatting soon!
