Hi B.P what a great video! U always make me smile with your contagious excitement and energy on new products! Wondering if u think I would like the dolce lift foundation better then gucci glow. U know I love my glow and the new bases do it so well wit out glitter. I'm thinking my mature skin wld like the lift better but I do have pretty good skin. Appreciate your thoughts. Xo

      Hi Lynn!

Thank you so much…I always love reading your kind comments, my friend! With regards to your question, that is tough! I like them both but find that the Gucci has a more "classic" foundation finish while the D&G Lift has a more "skin-like" finish. I wear them both depending on my mood but the Lift might actually be getting more action these days ; )

I hope that helps…enjoy the weekend and talk soon…xx,

I just received my Oribe Gold Lust conditioner this week. It is the best hair conditioner I have ever used! Not as enthusiastic about the shampoo tho. It isn't very sudsy and it makes my hair feel like straw when rinsed out. Def will continue with the Gold Lust conditioner. Worth every penny 🙂

Awesome, Sunny!! So glad to hear you love it. I agree, you can feel it working to soften and detangle the second you apply to the hair!

Also, I hate to bring up an old post on this post, but I have to ask–on your older post with all of your outfits you've been loving, where did you get those shorts from?? They're seriously the perfect cut and fit. Just the right length, the right amount of casualness, and the perfect amount of fray. Finally, I recently ordered the Sisley foundation! I'm really excited to get it. I hope it works out..I wasn't sure about my colour match but I have their old formula and Im a porcelain in that so I figured I can't go wrong with the same color again.

      HI MG!

No worries…I believe the shorts you mention are ones that I got years ago while in college. Probably not the answer you were hoping for but it is definitely the case…I got them at Forever 21 and they have progressively gotten shorter over the years, finally morphing into the perfect fit ; )

Some of my other favorite denim shorts come from TopShop, however…the Rosa Moto style has brought me great joy!

Congrats on your new Sisley foundation…exciting! Can't wait to hear your thoughts!

Hope your weekend is off to a wonderful start…xo and talk soon,

You often refer to your color tone as N or Nc25? Where or how might I figure out my color base? Thano for your blog. Love it

      Hello!

I am referring to the numbering system used with MAC Cosmetics which is fairly universal since the counters are accessible. N stands for Neutral undertone (equal balance between yellow and pink), NW is "not warm" and leans rosy/pink and NC is "not cool" which is for skin with warm and/or yellow undertones.

I will try to do an in-depth overview of this soon since your question is not the first regarding this issue ; )
