Above: Products on heavy rotation for the latter half of November and first part of December.
Hello dear readers! Due to the fact that we’re already in the second week in December, I have opted to forgo the “November Favorites” video and discuss the products that have been on heavy rotation for me over the last few weeks. So many good skincare and beauty discoveries…so little time!
Kindly scroll on for an impromptu style post from my day of filming, the video, product rundown, additional images and the Bottom Line…
I just adore your videos. You have siren hair today–it looks amazing. Sadly, for me, the Radical Skin care did not work. I tried the range and it destroyed my skin. The moisturizer burnt my face and it took me a full month to recover from the wounds. I did not try the mask though and now I am curious, of course. I have been meaning to try the Hydraluron but I got the Tracy Chapman one instead, which is good, or good enough. I am by no means transfixed. I am still waiting on my Peau Vierge which is supposed to ship before the 19th according to Neiman Marcus. I just cannot wait. Do you use it under your primer or above? I am not sure I understand what is the best way to use it.
As always your base make up is impeccable and I want every single piece you own.

Thank you so much…truly, so kind to read! I am sorry to hear that the Radical Skincare didn't work for you…it was created to help with sensitive skin and that's definitely not good that it burnt your face. With regards to the Peau Vierge, I generally use it over a serum (like the SK-II Cellumination) and before any additional primer (which lately has been the By Terry Densiliss). You can also just wear it as a standalone first base or even as a light foundation (which is what my mom does!).
I love neutral eyeshadow palettes! How would you describe the shimmer content in the CdP palette? Any suggestions for other neutral palettes with minimal shimmer?
Me, too, MG! With regards to shimmer, the first and third shade are essentially shimmer free and the second and fourth shade have a bit, but it is definitely not glittery, just more of a sheen. Does that make sense? I also find that the Burberry Dark Spice (a bit darker overall) has a great lack of shimmer while still being a smooth satin!
So many lovely choices! Another wonderful video, and love the swatches (of course). Hope the rest of the semester goes smoothly and enjoy your holiday break! xoxo.
I have to ask as I have watched many videos now–don't you wear sunscreen in sunny California?
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on these products; have and love Burberry Earthy. Their blush and eye shadows are truly some of my favorite-incredible! I have had interest in a few of the items you've reviewed and funny, I was mostly drawn to Flynn (on the way to me) and Luca which I might pick up in Spring (if it is still around) and I find I like the TF formula. I was drawn to Addison but I feel like I have GOT to get away from buying the same color lipstick in every new formula! It is a problem that I know so many can relate to:) Do you happen to have swatches of Addison? I would love to know what it compares to and see whether I might be missing out:)
I also LOVE the CDP 303–that is the one I have had on my wishlist. I have never owned a CDP shadow–they really are beautiful and the formula sounds great but they're quite an investment. Did you know CDP is made by Shiseido? I was so surprised when I saw that on the box of highlighter.
Thanks for all the great info!
I do indeed wear extra sunscreen when I know I am going to be outside for more than a couple of minutes. When I am indoors teaching, I still have on my LMdB Peau Vierge (which has SPF 20) and a foundation that generally has more sunscreen infused.
So glad we share an affinity for many of the same products…I don't yet have swatches of Addison, but I plan on getting some next week. Yes, the CdP #303 is insanely good…such a marvelous quartet of shades for neutral lovers. I did know that CdP was owned by Shiseido…I love Japanese brands in general!
