hi rachel!! your dear, sweet jethro!! i sure hope he feels better soon!! love, love this video!! my favorites are the lippies….actually, i'll take all of them. i'd really like to try the by terry balm in the "lip gloss form". i have a question rachel, i've been using jane iredale mineral foundation for years. i'd love to try something different but, it's so confusing to me and i do have very "reactive" skin. i'm also very pale. i think i was matched up to chanel in "B10" but the beige shade was a bit too yellow. do you have any suggestions for a "newbie"? well, thankyou very much for your always fabulous videos. xo to you!!
Thank you ever so much…so glad you liked the video. With regards to your question, I suggest the Zelens foundation in either the Age Control or Youth Glow (dependng on the coverage you seek). It is excellent for reactive skin due to its stellar ingredients…definitely worth the investment. I have swatches of every shade on my blog!
thank you so much for sharing your favorites! i am excited about the Burberry shadows (currently eyeing nude!) and can't wait to read your full review on them.
Welcome to the Aveeno bandwagon! It has made winter much more bearable for me. Thank you too for sharing your Feb favorites – there are many very tempting things on your list. I am curious about Radical's hydrating cleanser. Do you know how it compares with LMDB's daily renew creme cleanser? I like LMDB because it absolutely does non-drying and I can use it on my eye make-up as well. It does a decent job getting make-up off but it does sometimes leave traces of foundation behind.
That is wonderful to read, Zeka…glad you are loving Aveeno as I am! I haven't tried the LMdB cleanser so I cannot juxtapose it against the Radical…I just know that the Radical is a superbly hydrating formula. I generally use eye makeup remover for my eyes, however, if that helps!
I will have to give the Radical cleanser a try then. Quick question on cdp foundations – which one is your favorite? I have the radiant fluid, silk cream and radiant powder all in 030 which are all dark for me now, but I don't really want to buy all 3 in 020 – just one that will tide me over until I tan again (which shouldn't be too long from now since winter is finally over!!). After I did a major purge of my foundation stash it seems everything I am left with is in the NC 30 range and I am currently more of an NC 23-25. I would really appreciate a recommendation – we seem to gravitate towards the same products. Thanks for your help and for all the wonderful posts!
Fantastic! With regards to your question, I believe that I prefer the CdP Cream foundation best of all…great coverage and lasting power and a beautiful natural finish. O 20 sounds like it would be a perfect match for you right now.
P.S – I never thought I'd see the day I'd covet a fanny pack. Most leggings + yoga pants have no pockets and most fanny packs shouldn't be seen in public – in a situation where carrying a purse is inconvenient, where does one put her stuff? Your brother has solved a very important (okay, First World, but still practically ubiquitous) problem!
I agree…I thought the fanny pack would forever be a somewhat embarrassing relic of the 5th grade for me but alas, my brother found a way to make them appealing again! Love that we're of like mind on this!
Im so glad to hear Jethro is doing great! He is a warrior 🙂
As per usual, I want everything! In particular the Juno body serum and the CdP powder. Hahaha, I can also speak about foundations every day all day. I have been eyeing a Korean cushion foundation from the brand Innisfree. Have you heard from it?
I think the early 60s, Catherine Deneuve lip color suits you greatly!

Thank you so much, my friend! He is such a tough boy and doing better each day.
Yes, the Juno Serum is so good and I love the finish of the CdP powder. I haven't heard of Innisfree but you have piqued my interest ; )
Thank you for the 1960's compliment…honored.
Happy almost weekend…xx,
