Above: Creamy and highly-blendable, the Trestique line travels like a dream. |
- *Trestique Moisture and Blend Tinted Face Stick in Tulum Nude: Offering buildable light, all the way to medium-full coverage, this unscented base product has a natural, slightly glowing finish that simply looks like “really good skin.” Tulum Nude is an excellent match for N/NC 25 skin.
- *Trestique Color and Contour Bronzer Stick in Brazilian Bronze: A neutral tan that effectively adds depth, dimension and warmth to the face, this creamy bronze lushly glides along the face without imparting any discernible shimmer. So beautiful.
- *Trestique Color and Contour Blush Stick in Bora Bora Coral: This cheerful wash of coral is bright yet sheer for an entirely wearable outcome. I prefer to concentrate this on the apples of my cheeks for a believable flush.
- *Trestique Correct and Cover Concealer Crayon in Bisque: Offering a touch more initial coverage than then Tinted Face Stick, this potent wand instantly banishes discoloration and imperfections. I blended a touch of this in my under eye region and was pleased with how well it covered darkness without conspicuous creasing.
- *Trestique Color and Smudge Shadow Crayon in Venetian Gold: I was stunned by the stalwart nature of this eye shadow crayon. Once applied, it does not budge. Venetian Gold is a perfect fusion of bronze, taupe and gold and the satin finish is luminous without being glittery.
- *Trestique Matte Color and Shiny Lip Balm in Nantucket Nude: The matte side of this dual ended lip product is an extremely pigmented pinky nude beige and the glossy side imparts a clear gleam that adds moisture and radiance for hours on end.

- *Cleansing Oil Shampoo: Despite its potentially misleading moniker (oil?), this formula leaves hair decidedly clean. 3-4 pumps of this softly fragrant elixir create a lush lather that gently cleanses my thick, long hair, leaving it feeling balanced and smooth. I have been using this nonstop!
- *Essence Absolue Nourishing Protective Oil: The scent alone is enough to enchant, but the detangling and hydrating properties of this serum further enhance its value in my current routine. Brimming with the restorative power of Camellia, this oil does it all; it masterfully adds shine, tames fly-aways, enhances manageability, acts as a leave-in conditioner and can be used as a protective styling treatment. Since using two pumps directly after washing, my tangle-prone hair has never been smoother and more voluminous.

Rachel, great post as always. Have you tried any of the nudestix? I am always looking for ways to streamline my makeup for days when I want a quick primp and run out the door. This gal at least has to have a bit of cover, lips and eyebrows even for daily walks or trips to the gym. Love the Shu Uemura line. Your hair looks beautiful! Great post!
Hi Debi!!
Thank you so much…I have indeed tried Nudestix and have been meaning to create a feature of the line. It is truly lovely and works well, too.
Always appreciate your thoughts…with much love,
