Happy start of the week, lovelies! The *Jouer Mermaid Collectiondebuts on May 24th at 11 AM PST and I am over the moon to share an advance look at the stunning shades in this fresh release.
From luminous highlighters to color-drenched liquid lipstick, this collection will evoke the mermaid in everyone!

Palette play.
The *Glow Palette consists of five pans of cream highlighter, two of which are special limited edition shades for the Mermaid Collection:
Camellia: Shimmering pearl white
Tiare: Shimmering gold
Champagne: Shimmering rose gold
Seashell: Shimmering pearl pink (limited edition)
Crystal: Iridescent lavender pink (limited edition + my personal favorite)
The formula is smooth and weightless for the most ultra-believable glow possible; I find that the creamy texture holds up well for hours, even in warm weather and layering the shades yields extra dimension and endless possibilities.

The *Iridescent Eyeshadow Palette features four satin shades with immense color-payoff and an entrancing finish that plays with the light:
Coconut: Iridescent ice white
Pink Pearl: Iridescent soft pink
Splash: Iridescent aquamarine
Dreamer: Iridescent duochrome peacock
Light-diffusing and long-wearing, these shadows can be layered, blended and built up for nearly full opacity. Even though they resonate with the breezy energy of summer, I envision being able to wear these hues year-round as they instantly brighten the oribital area (especially Coconut and Pink Pearl) and work well with others.

Luminzing Body Lotion.
The *Luminizing Body Lotion envelops the senses in a floral-tropical dream. Lightly tinted to add a cloak of warmth and luminosity to skin, this hydrating lotion absorbs quickly and lasts all day. The glow it distills is natural, flattering and remarkably un-shimmery, ranking it highly amongst it contemporaries.

As mentioned in my original review, the formula is smooth, pigmented and incredibly long lasting without being drying. I adore the fact that there are metallic finishes in the mix (rare amongst long wear lip color options) and am consistently impressed with my experience each and everytime I wear this formula.

Glow quotient: Skinny Dip.
Finally, the Long-Wear Lip Topper in Skinny Dip instantly imparts a gleaming finish to your lip color of choice. Infused with Coconut Oil, this silky, non-sticky formula glides over lips leaving a warm shimmery nude wash in its wake.
I can’t wait to try it over nude lip liner, but in the meanwhile, see how it transforms Watermelon in the images at the end of the story!

Serge Lutens Spectral Foundation in O40 (also available at Saks and swatched + reviewed HERE): Despite having an insane amount of foundations in my arsenal, I have been reaching for this opulent gem frequently as of late. The medium coverage and natural matte finish is so skin perfecting and the formula performs perfectly in this spring-to-summer weather.

Free People Long Beach Tank in Sea Green: I have this super soft tank top in five shades; high neck, cut in shoulders and a long, flowy bottom half ensure this style’s consistency in my wardrobe. I bought mine last season and am glad to see that it’s back this year in even more colors!
