The lavish *Jouer Skinny Dip Collection (also available at Cult Beauty) is now available! Emanating major summertime vibes, the eyeshadow palette, highlighters and lip topper in a brand new shade–the chic pale pink St. Tropez–take a healthy, warm weather glow to the absolute next level.
Kindly scroll on for more details, swatches and images of the collection as well as some new beauty discoveries and my suggestions for the plethora of sales occurring this weekend…
For me, the stars of the collection are the *Jouer Skinny Dip Ultra Foil Shimmer Shadows (also available at Cult Beauty); housed in a sleek golden palette, these shadows are intensely radiant and marvelously pigmented for noteworthy color payoff in a single swipe. Each of the hues is a perfect balance of rich color and foil incandescence and the velvety texture stays smooth and crease-free for hours on end.
Shade descriptions (per my experience) are as follows:
Star Light: Lush silvery grey
Bikini: Gossamer pale pink with warm undertones
Skinny Dip: Light gold with slightly green undertones
Tan Lines: Plush medium bronze
Magic Hour: Glowing deep taupe
Midnight Swim: Darkest golden army green-meets-charcoal brown.

Next, the *Jouer Skinny Dip Collection Highlighters in Skinny Dip and Tan Lines (also available at Cult Beauty) deliver a warmth and radiance that bathes skin in flattering light. Finely milled and ravishingly pigmented, these illuminators look incredible on the high points of the face (e.g., upper cheek bones, brow bones and down the bridge of the nose). Skinny Dip is a golden peach shade and Tan Line is a gilded honey bronze tone that can double as an incandescent bronzer on light and medium skin tones.
Finally, the Jouer Skinny Dip Collection would not be complete without lip products! This launch includes favorite repromotes like the Lip Toppers in *Skinny Dip (reviewed HERE), *Tan Lines (reviewed HERE) and Long Wear Lip Creme in *Papaye (reviewed HERE) as well as the ethereally beautiful new Lip Topper, *St. Tropez(also available at Cult Beauty), a pink-tinged shimmer reminiscent of the effortless and iconic resplendence of the South of France. All three Lip Toppers look stunning alone, over nude lip liner or as a transformational glaze atop existing lip color and my rediscovery of Papaye has ignited a new found love for this pearly, opaque pale peachy pink.
*IGK Prenup Instant Spray Hair Mask: Designed to be used once or twice a week in-shower, this fascinating spray mask restores moisture and shine to hair for a full and bouncy mane.
*Eve Lom Time Retreat Radiance Boost Treatment: Mild levels of hydroxy acids and Vitamin A work in harmony to gently exfoliate skin for a brighter and more clarified complexion without irritation.
*Sisley-Paris White Ginger Contouring Oil for Legs (reviewed HERE): As the temperatures have risen, this opulent oil has been on heavy rotation on my arms and legs; the decadent texture balances and smooths tired limbs while the aromatic scent of white ginger lifts my mood…it’s an invaluable combination.
*Kate Somerville UncompliKated SPF 50 Soft Focus Makeup Setting Spray: Formidable SPF and line-blurring capabilities? Yes, please! As its moniker suggests, this new release mists on to set makeup, protect with SPF 50 and, as if by magic, impart a soft-focus veil that makes skin look its best.
*Kjaer Weis The Beautiful Oil: This multi-purpose oil is brimming with Dioscorea Batatas, otherwise known as–the root of light–along with wild rose, sweet almond seed and olive oil for a hydrating and illuminating effect. The oil can be used as a moisturizer, primer and even as a hyper-natural glow inducer atop makeup…it’s a beautifully versatile splurge.
The Wayne Goss Eye Set.
I used the *Wayne Goss The Eye Set to apply the *Jouer Skinny Dip Ultra Foil Shimmer Shadowsand am so impressed by the utilitarian nature of this pentad. With extremely soft bristles of varying density and length, the brushes buff and blend like a dream. I am particularly partial to brush #18 as it applies a wash of color all over the lid in one or two strokes…time saving, indeed.
Create virtually any eye look with The Eye Set, a collection of five handcrafted brushes designed by makeup artist Wayne Goss. Featuring silky-soft natural bristles, this set comes with everything you need to master a smoky eye, cut crease, winged liner, and so much more.
Why It’s Special

The Eye Set includes the new Brushes 16, 17, 18, 19, and 20
*Sisley-Paris Concealer #2 (reviewed HERE): Forever in my makeup bag, this apricot-toned wonder never ceases to amaze me; it banishes undereye darkness in seconds and resists creasing for hours.
*Chantecaille HD Bronzer: Applied with my *Surratt Beauty Artistique Highlight Brush (reviewed HERE), this true matte brown powder adds depth to skin without pulling the slightest bit orange. The finish is velvety smooth and nearly naked to the eye for an authentic HD result.
*Chantecaille Faux Cils Longest Lash Mascara: Two coats of this lash-enriching formula impart immense length and volume and–I must mention–it is lightly scented with rose…divine.
*Cutex BB Nail Concealer(also available HERE): New in my nail routine, this nourishing nail treatment strengthens nails while the matte nude veil of color evens and brightens for a super clean and low-maintenance glow.

// STYLE NOTES //
Free People Cutoffs: These shorts have been a staple for the past few years and I love that they are still available. They are super soft, run true to size and the bleached pale blue shade make legs look more tan than they actually are ; )
Topshop Distressed Edge Tee: I bought this tee on a whim–I mean, do I really need another black tee?–but am so glad I did. At $20, it is a veritable steal and the generous cut can be dressed up or dressed down with ease.
Jeffrey Campbell Fling 2 Sandal: It was love at first sight with these matte gilded sandals; with a cushiony jelly texture (the sole has a hidden honeycomb interior for maximum comfort) and sleek slide-in styling, they are summertime in a slip on…at $39, I’m inspired to pick up one in every available color!
Bottom Line: I hope you enjoyed this overview of the gorgeous *Jouer Skinny Dip Collection (also available at Cult Beauty) and new product discoveries and would love to know what caught YOUR eye! Additionally, what holiday weekend sales will you be indulging in? Do tell!
I just finished the school year (!) and am working on catching up on a myriad of BP-related elements (including emails and comments…thanks for your patience) as well as a fresh batch of stories…good things ahead, including a new video, some travel-centric/on-location stories (Paris, here I come!) and a host of new product procurements.
This is totally my color palette! Cool-toned gold eye shadows are my comfort zone. I especially like the photo of you with your eyes closed, facing the sunlight– it really showcases the eye and lip looks.
