Beauty on a Boat: A Lakeside Look + the New Becca Lush Lip Color Balm

Beauty on a boat.
I’ve just spent a blissful week with my family on vacation in Mammoth, CA (follow me on Instagram for daily recaps!) and while the trip has been rife with adventure and relaxation, I also designated some time to shoot for Beauty Professor.
Consequently, today’s story focuses on a beauty look during the first of two boat trips and introduces the recently-launched *Becca Lush Lip Color Balm. Sunny skies, clear water and lipstick? Yes, please!
Kindly scroll on for more details, swatches and images of the products in action as well as the Bottom Line…

Beauty on a Boat: A Lakeside Look + the New Becca Lush Lip Color Balm

// BASE + FACE //

*Sisley-Paris Tinted Sunscreen Cream in Golden (reviewed HERE)

This physical SPF 50 wonder protects my skin like nothing else; boasting full coverage and a waterproof finish that looks like fresh and natural skin, it is well worth the investment. I’ve had my tube for over a year and still have half left!

*Clé de Peau Beauté Concealer in Almond (reviewed HERE)

Just a touch in my under eye region to banish darkness and shadows.

By Terry Sun Designer Palette #2 (reviewed HERE)

I have earnestly recommended this limited-edition palette for over a year and a half and am now finding it increasingly difficult to find online as quantities diminish. I recently ordered two backups and am happy to report that #2 Light and Tan Vibes is still available at Saks…get it while you can. I used the bronze side of the palette to gently contour and warm up my face in the look that follows and prefer to never be without this palette!

*Orlane Cream Blush Sun Glow Stick

I applied this creamy watermelon shade on the apples of my cheeks for a natural flush of color…this new formula is simply beautiful and I know I’ll be reaching for it long after summer has transitioned to fall.

*Orlane All Over Highlighter Stick

Just a slick along my upper cheek bones and down the bridge of my nose imparts a believable glow…can’t wait to continue to experiment with this resplendent highlighter.

*Gucci Magnetic Color Shadow Quad in Crystal Copper (reviewed HERE)

I swept the copper and pale bronze shades along my eye lids and lower lash lines and used the pale champagne shade to blend to my brow bones for extra glow. With finely milled texture, excellent color payoff and crease-free lasting power, this quad is a minimalist, warm neutral lover’s dream come true.

*Clé de Peau Beauté Eye Intensifier (reviewed HERE)

I applied this along my upper lash line to punctuate my eyes…the inky onyx formula simply doesn’t budge!

*IT Cosmetics Superhero Mascara (reviewed HERE)

Two coats for long, dark and voluminous lashes, this affordable gem is easily in my top three mascara formulas.

*Becca Lush Lip Color Balm

There are eight shades available and I have six swatched for you below; I am wearing my three favorite shades–Ginger VanilleCafe Au Lait and Black Violet–in the images towards the latter half of this post.

*Orlane Shining Lip Gloss in #6 Nude Mat

This soft nude gloss has stunning opacity for a creamy finish that enhances existing lip color…it’s non-sticky versatility is perhaps why it has taken up permanent residence in my purse as of late.

*Becca Lush Lip Color Balm
An ULTA exclusive, the *Becca Lush Lip Color Balm is intensely hydrating like a balm while offering the buildable coverage of a rich, yet weightless, lipstick. Ranging from a demure pale peach nude to a passionate deep violet, the shades are universally flattering and their translucent texture ensures a customizable finish that can start soft sheer and finish with a luxurious opaque shine, depending one’s mood.

The buttery texture feels opulent on the lips and the fuss-free bullets can easily be applied on the go, resonating with the effortless beauty of the Becca line. I am particularly impressed with this release and know that Ginger Vanille (my absolute favorite) will join the ranks of my favorite peachy pinks on heavy rotation.
