First Look: Clé de Peau Beauté The Lipstick + Makeup in the Mountains
I have had the chance to experiment with the transcendent *Clé de Peau Beauté The Lipstick(also available at Clé de Peau Beauté, Neiman Marcus and Spring) since late June and couldn’t be more impressed. From the sleek packaging to the sculpted bullet, this release is for lip color connoisseurs who have tried everything and still yearn for more.
The formula is hydrating and plush, draping lips in a color saturated cloak of moisture and soft shine. Nearly all of the 14 shades have a flattering cream finish that all at once appears modern yet timeless and the lasting power is marvelous…I get 4-5 hours of comfortable, touch up-free wear.
The color range is perfection; warm nudes and fresh peach exist in harmony with rich reds and deep oxblood for a lineup that is sure to offer something for everyone.

I have been a long-time fan of African Botanics and this latest release–a weightless moisturizer with potent skin-perfecting, anti-aging benefits–does not disappoint! Applied in the day, it serves a singular skincare step before primer and makeup.
I use this constantly when traveling as my eyes tend to get puffy and this mask (which I apply as an eye cream at night) works wonders to tighten, brighten and lift; it’s always within an arm’s reach for me.
This is a newer element in my body care routine; I am enchanted with its lightweight gel-like texture; this fragrance-free formula absorbs instantly and leaves my skin seriously moisturized and slightly glowy…so very good.
Excellent for instantly enhancing one’s limbs with a golden radiance, this spray features moisture, a light tint and SPF protection…a gorgeous trifecta, indeed.
Still a staple in my routine, this sunless tanning formula is foolproof and can be applied in haste while still yielding beautiful results. I use it on my arms and legs and am consistently happy with the subtle tan that develops in an hour or so.

I recently bumped up to Sable as it’s a better match for my summer skin and I couldn’t be happier–even after all these years–with this buildable cream foundation formula which creates a super natural even canvas. It’s a modern classic in my book!
I recently rediscovered this brilliant bronzer in my collection and have fallen in love with it all over again; the true brown tan is neither obviously shimmery nor overtly matte; it just gives skin the most natural bronzed look and is dark enough to work well with a spectrum of skin tones.
Two of my favorite Surratt shades ever, La Rosee du Soir is a warm dusty rose that I swept along my cheeks and then I blended the marshmallow pink on the apples of my cheeks for a doll-like flush.
I brought the travel version with me on this particular trip and appreciate how compact this loose powder is on the go; it sets makeup and blurs fine lines and pores while looking completely inconspicuous on the face.
