Hello, friends! It’s been a wild week thus far; my final grades for the semester are submitted and I’m gratefully facing a lovely stretch of time at home. Consequently, I’m excited to share today’s post which is dedicated to my favorite type of outfit and makeup–a wintertime uniform if you will–for a day out along with an exact rendering of my family Christmas gift list, just in case you need some last minute inspiration!

| Skin, base and fragrance. |
// SKIN, BASE + FRAGRANCE // Sometimes keeping it simple provides the greatest longevity.
- *Zelens Z Balance Probiotic and Prebiotic Facial Mist (reviewed HERE): Following moisturizer, I adore this nutrient-rich mist, which balances and tones skin, masterfully preparing it for the makeup to come. It also is a fabulous mid-day refresher.
- *Surratt Beauty Surreal Real Skin Foundation #8 (reviewed HERE): I love this long lasting formula for fresh and even skin with a natural finish…#8 is working well for my early winter skin.
- *Sisley-Paris Concealer #2 (reviewed HERE): Just a swipe of this apricot wonder along my orbital region cleverly hides the signs of sleep deprivation.
- *BY TERRY Delectation Splendide: Lush and alluring, this fragrance has rich musk notes balanced by vanilla…it’s entirely apropos for the season.

| Face. |
// FACE // To take full advantage of a gloriously sunny winter day, I prioritized the glow.
- *Sappho Bronze Goddess Compact (reviewed HERE): Blended in the hollows of my cheeks with my *Surratt Artistique Cheek Brush and along the perimeters of my face for natural warmth and depth, this is fast becoming a bronzer favorite.
- I blended the Burberry Illuminating Drops Glow Concentrate along the high points of my face (temples and bridge of nose) for a golden dewy sheen and buffed a bit of the *Iconic London Illuminator in Original (reviewed HERE) along my upper cheek bones and Cupid’s bow.
- Finally, I used my *Wayne Goss Rose Gold Air Brush (reviewed HERE) to apply the stunning Pink Sapphire shade from the *Becca Light Waves Palette to deliver a soft blush and tossed the palette in my purse for easy highlighter touchups with the other two shades (Moonstone and Prismatic Amethyst).

// EYES // Warm neutrals are my go-to when in a rush and the Tom Ford Private Shadows handled the task like champs.
- Tom Ford Private Shadows in Agenda Rouge, Body Double, Iris Bronze and Loveshade: A seamless blend of all four for natural eyes with a twist.
- *Gucci Impact Long Wear Eye Pencil in Black: Swept along my lower lash line, this is the pencil that doesn’t quit.
- *Tom Ford Fiber Brow Gel in Chestnut: Still one of the quickest ways to groom and polish my brows while adding depth and hold.
- *IT Superhero Mascara: Two coats for lush and long lashes that require no touch ups.

| Tom Ford Private Shadows |
As for the Tom Ford Private Shadow, the formula is buttery and blendable with fantastic lasting power and crease-free performance. I loved the first few I received so much (reviewed HERE) that I recently picked up:
- Body Double: A shimmering champagne that works so well to transition to brow bones
- Loveshade: A peachy fawn…get your hands on this if you can!
- Iris Bronze: A warm red-toned bronze that looks great as an overall wash of color.
- Agenda Rouge: A brilliant red brown…excellent for more dramatic moments.

| Lips. |
// LIPS // It was a long day, so I had no less than six formulas combined in various proportions while out and about.
- *Hourglass Panoramic Lip Liner in Canvas: A marvelous pinky nude that lasts forever without drying the lips…so good.
- *Sisley-Paris Phyto Lip Twist in #10 Sugar (reviewed HERE): Forever in my purse, this tender baby pink is a nonnegotiable for my lips.
- *Clé de Peau Beauté Water Lily (also available at CdPB and reviewed HERE): A gorgeous mauve pink, it adds depth without overpowering.
- *Clé de Peau Beauté Hummingbird (also available at CdPB and reviewed HERE): Cheerful peach with a creamy finish, I love to mix it with Water Lily for a customized pout.
- Clé de Peau Beauté Radiant Rouge #11 Lingerie (also available at CdPB and reviewed HERE): I am on tube #3 of this particular shade…I shall never be without it.
- Tom Ford Ultra Gloss Tawny Pink (reviewed HERE): Seriously the best shade in the Ultra Gloss lineup…it must be tried to be believed.

// STYLE NOTES // Ultra casual yet entirely presentable, this is the outfit I wish to wear daily.
- Camel blazer…timeless and classic, this neutral number matches everything. Check out this yellow blazer and black velvet blazer as other color options!
- Ragdoll LA bone white tee…I have three on constant rotation.
- Gucci belt…one of my best designer investments to date.
- Ksubi Jeans…high waisted with a great relaxed leg…size up two sizes (I wear a 27) for your best fit.
- Loeffler Randall Kassidy Booties…on sale and infinitely chic, these run true to size. I ordered a size 7 and they fit perfectly.

| The eye look. |
Finally, after a week of shopping, here is sampling of what I bought my circle for Christmas (I hope they don’t read this post!):
- Dad: Nordstrom Men’s Shop Cashmere Sweater…this is a man who wears his sweaters (some don’t) so I picked up this luscious grey number to add to his collection.
- Mom: La Mer The Illuminating Powder and Bobbi Brown Travel Brush Set…an opulent radiant powder and the most adorable set of tortoiseshell-accented brushes for the woman who already has a vast makeup collection.
- Husband: Varidesk, ATM Tee Shirt and Tom Ford Men’s Lip Balm…he’s been wanting a way to avoid sitting as much at work so the desk seemed like a great solution, the tee is timeless and this is his favorite balm on the planet; it’s a luxe option for the everyday man.
- Brother: Nintendo Switch Console and John Varvatos Henley…this duo appeals to his playful side while embracing the grown and accomplished man that he is.
- Neighbor: Voluspa Maison Blanc candle and Barefoot Dreams socks…a comforting scented glow and the softest socks anywhere, perfect for a beloved friend.
- Self: Vince High Collar Camel Coat and I also asked for these Gucci booties as I (still!) wear the ones I got two years ago constantly. Since my birthday directly follows Christmas, this has a good chance of being a combination present from my husband ; )
