I read this riveting memoir in two days; in other words, I couldn’t put it down. Detailing Ms. Buck’s illustrious path as a writer for a vast array of publications including Vogue and Vanity Fair, the book is poignant, emotive and inspiring.

Valley of the Dolls by Jacqueline Susann

Indulgence on every level, I read this cult-classic every couple of years for a dramatic departure from everyday life.

The Beautiful Fall by Alicia Drake

With a heavy focus on glamour, the 1970s Paris setting transports the reader to a pre-Internet time in history, rife with an insider’s look at emerging fashion icons in their element.
