Happy almost February! This January has been an absolute whirlwind…definitely one for the books! A new year brought my birthday, followed by an incredible trip to Paris; when we returned home, we were faced with the process of moving (sooner than expected) and spent less than two weeks packing and preparing for a new home. In the interim, I spoke on a panel at the BeautyX Summit, attended a few beauty events for some of my favorite brands and rooted my brother’s wrestling team to a 2nd in league finish!
We moved with the help of family and friends this past weekend and I started lecturing for the spring semester at the college yesterday. Needless to say, there are more boxes than I can count that need to be unpacked and lots on my plate for the next few weeks ahead, but I am grateful and stronger and ready to set up our new place!
In the meanwhile, I am excited to share a fresh video tutorial that focuses on some of my lifestyle essentials as well as an easy winter look makeup tutorial that integrates some of the latest launches for Spring and Summer 2018.
Kindly scroll on for the video, product breakdown, additional images and a host of swatches as well as the Bottom Line…
The *Natasha Denona Diamond & Blush Palette in Citrus (also available at Sephora)…rife with warm shades of peach and gold, this palette looks gorgeous on olive, medium and deeper skin tones and will be on my face nonstop come summer!
From L-R: Clé de Peau Beauté The Lipstick in Peach Stone (vibrant coral peach), Crystal Star (lush rosy nude) and Desert Rose (dramatic wine), new for S/S 2018.
Introducing the hydrating, ultra-reflective and delightfully non-sticky *Clé de Peau Beauté Brilliant Gloss. FYI, you’ll likely want at least three floating around your purse at all times…the new formula is divine!
Bottom Line: I truly hope you enjoyed this video and would love to know what your lifestyle essentials are for this year! Also, let me know which new launches caught your eye!
Good things ahead, including a new house mini-tour (fresh places to film for the future!) and a host of new product procurements…can’t wait to share.
I love a nice, saturated ochre– it's a hue that flatters a multitude of skin tones/hair colors, and it pairs so well with a punchy pink or red lip! Looking forward to watching this video later tonight, and also for your new home tour! <3
Hello Carramaus! Wonderful to hear from you…I agree about the color of the top. It was immediate love at first sight when I saw it in Paris–and it was on sale, as well! I, too, am fairy certain I had a scrunchie of a similar ilk and would love to have it again ; ) Hope you enjoyed the video and have a magnificent weekend! XO

further to my previous comment, this post reminded me of an ochre velvet scrunchie I owned as a kid. What I would give to have it back today! 😛
