Kindly scroll on for more details, swatches and images of my recommendations in action as well as the Bottom Line…
// SKINCARE ETC. // Simple yet potent, these selections help skin to be its best, 24 hours a day.
*Farmacy Honeymoon Glow AHA Resurfacing Night Serum: Designed to gently increase cell turnover while sleeping, prepare to wake up with noticeably smoother, glowier skin (without irritation) upon waking. It’s the ultimate multi-tasker!
*Skin INC. Optimizer Voyage Tri-Light: This brilliant device has permanent place on my nightstand, making it an easy daily treatment within an arm’s reach. Just 10 minutes a day firms, lifts and brightens, fighting blemishes and signs of aging along the way.
*OUAI Texturizing Hair Spray: A quick and easy way to create volume and texture on demand, it works on all hair types to breath new life into one’s tresses.
*First Aid Beauty Pure Skin Face Cleanser: I’ve been using this gentle cleanser for the last month and appreciate the way that it cleans without stripping, leaving my skin super soft and moisturized day and night.
*SUPERGOOP! 100% Mineral Smooth & Poreless Matte Sunscreen SPF 40: My latest sunscreen discovery, this wildly effective mineral formula visibly improves the look of skin upon application, blurring away pores for a canvas that’s just as perfected as it is protected.
Foundation etc.
// FOUNDATION ETC. // Four formulas perfectly tailored to a variety of diverse skin needs.
*Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup: A modern classic with 40+ shades in the lineup, this foundation is perfect for those seeking full coverage, a demi-matte finish and the most extreme (yet comfortable) lasting power on the market. 3W1 Tawny is my current match and I’ll be reaching for it on particularly long days.
*Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation: This foundation has a revered cult-following for a reason…the SPF-free buildable coverage (sheer all the way to medium-full) and natural finish make it a favorite for red carpets and daily carpools alike. I wear shade #7 for most of the year. **worn at the end of this post
*LAWLESS Beauty Woke Up Like This Flawless Finish Foundation: The newest kid on the block, this uber-clean fragrance-free formula is excellent for one who wants impeccable ingredients without compromising an iota of performance. Sahara is my current match!
*Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion Ultra Longwear Concealer: This flexible liquid-meets-cream banishes dark circles and imperfections immediately…the coverage is insanely good (yet somehow still very natural looking on the face) so little goes a long way. If you are having a low-maintenance skin day, you may even be able to strategically apply on areas of concern (start from the center of the face and blend outward) and get away with this as foundation! 3W is my best match for most of the year. **worn at the end of this post
Swatches in direct sunlight.
Cheeks and face.
// CHEEKS + FACE //
*Givenchy Healthy Glow Bronzer #4 Extreme Saison: The visible dent in this bronzer shows you how much I use this bronzer…it’s a perfect true brown tan that contours as well as it adds warmth. **worn at the end of this post
*Laura Mercier Blush Color Infusion in Peach: Velvety smooth and delightfully radiant, this peachy coral confection looks incredible on the apples of one’s cheeks and wears like a dream. **worn at the end of this post
*Natasha Denona Super Glow Highlighters: I am in love with this new trio of highlighting powders from the exquisite Ms. Denona. The finely milled formula imparts a creamy, nearly glossy sheen that makes skin look positively lit-from-within. **worn at the end of this post
// EYES // A minimalist pentad of products with maximum results.
GrandeLASHand GrandeBROW(reviewed HERE): I have been using this duo for well over a year and am so pleased with the results…my lashes and brows continue to grow and thrive and I cannot recommend both formulas enough.
*Natasha Denona Camel Eyeshadow Palette: This is perhaps my most favorite Natasha Denona 5-palette to date; the lush matte tones and warm radiant shades work together to create a classic neutral eye. Much like the utilitarian of a camel coat, this harmony of hues will have you reaching for it time and again. **worn at the end of this post
Tom Ford Cream and Powder Eye Color in Golden Peach: Ever in rotation (I am on my 4th or 5th pot of this), I implore you to take advantage of the current savings and add this to your repertoire…you won’t regret it.
*Hourglass Caution Extreme Lash Mascara: One of the best mascara formulas released this year, it’s vegan and cruelty-free yet entirely high-performance. **worn at the end of this post
Pat McGrath MatteTrance Lipstick in 1995: The shade of summer-fall transition, this true nude beige has plenty of pigmentation to complement a spectrum of skin tones. **worn at the end of this post
*Laura Mercier Lip Glace in Bare Baby: In love with the name, in love with the non-sticky light pink shine…it’s an all-around perfect hue. **worn at the end of this post
*Natasha Denona Super Glow Highlighterin Light-Medium: I swept this incandescent powder along the high points of my face (center of forehead, upper cheek bones, bridge of nose, Cupid’s bow and chin) for an ethereal radiance.
*Natasha Denona Camel Eyeshadow Palette: I applied Zand all over my upper lid, blended Dune to my brow bones and tapped Copper Sand into the center of my upper lid with my finger tip. For continuity, I swept a mix of Zand and Copper Sand along my lower lash line.
