Tom Ford Soleil is always the most gorgeous harbinger of the warmer months ahead and the Summer 2019 Collection is no exception to the rule. Currently available at Nordstrom, Beautylish and Neiman Marcus, this array of effortless products, housed in iconic white and gold packaging, deliver a fresh wash of warm and bronzy color that is sure to flatter a spectrum of skin tones.
I am excited to share my picks from the collection…from a lush bronzed cheeks and warmly illuminated eyes to a rich dose of color for lips, there is something for simply everyone!

| Face. |
For the face, there are two Soleil Glow bronzers (also available at Beautylish and Nordstrom) that have been reformulated…they feel buttery and glide on in the silkiest fashion. Terra (also reviewed HERE and worn at the end of this post) is a true tan that will work well for medium and tan skin tones and *Gold Dust is a slightly lighter tan that will compliment light and medium skin tones. Both are delightfully neutral and contour and add warmth in just a few strokes.
In terms of the cheeks, *Lissome (also available at Neiman Marcus and Beautylish) is a duo with peachy tan highlight and true medium pink blush with a satin finish…they can be worn together or applied separately for a customized finish that is exceptionally fresh. This just might be my favorite of all of the previous releases in this format.

| *Tom Ford Aqua Metal Eyeshadow |
For eyes, I am completely smitten with the *Tom Ford Aqua Metal Eyeshadow. This creamy liquid formula–which applies with a doe foot applicator and can be blended out with a brush–is intensely luminous with sheer, buildable color payoff that stays in place all day once set. *Reflect Gilt is a pure gold, *Violet Argente is a gilded bronze with a touch of mauve for good measure and Venus Rising is an incandescent pinky peach. In the images at the end of this post, I layered all three to my brow bone for a sunlit, multi-dimensional look that resists creasing and stays glowy all day.

| Tom Ford Soleil Glow Up Foundation SPF 45 Hydrating Cushion |
Although there are two shades of the Tom Ford Soleil Glow Up Foundation SPF 45 Hydrating Cushion, I opted to pick up only one hue…7.8 Warm Bronze. Depending on one’s skin tone, this sheer formula can add an all-over warmth to the face or be applied with precision for an innovative take on contouring and bronzing. I envision myself using this more in the dead of summer (as a foundation) when my skin is at its tannest but also hope that this launch is a glimpse into a more robust Tom Ford cushion foundation launch in the future!

For lips, I purchased one shade and received four others for review and am extremely pleased with the pentad.
The Lip Sheers in Carriacou and *Aphrodite (both worn at the end of this post and also available at Beautylish) have magnificent pigmentation for a product with the word “sheer” in it. Carriacou is a creamy warm peachy pink (yes, please!) and Aphrodite is a luxe plum with plenty of punch.
An insanely lovely fusion of form and function, the *Tom Ford Lip Blush (also available at Beautylish) features a clear jelly texture with suspended real 24k gold flakes. The formula adapts to one’s pH upon application, creating an ultra-flattering rosy pink tone that instantly delivers moisture to the lips and life to one’s face. I have been using this daily…it’s a brilliant convergence of opulence and ease!
Finally, I’ve been playing with the genius limited-edition *Tom Ford Lip Gelees (also available at Neiman Marcus and Beautylish) in the papaya-toned Scorching and cherry red Lustrous. Easily the least pigmented of the lip color options in collection, the hydrating clear outer ring is offset by a jolt of bright cellophane color at the core, making it one of the most beautiful balms on the market.

Marvelous post, as always. Favorite part: usage of "pentad."
Those platform shoes are too cute! You look gorgeous as always. I am waffling on whether or not to get the gold dust bronzer in a third reformulation. What is the lasting power like? I feel like original version faded quickly. The ultimate version was hard to pick up from the pan, but lasted well. If this one stays on throughout the day, I would take the plunge and purchase it. I am probably going to get the liquid eyeshadow in reflects gilt. The lip gelee in scorching is very attractive to me, but all the other reviews have been bad, so I’m holding off.
