Le Metier de Beaute Color Core Moisture Stain in Castelo…My Walk on theDark Side

After my foray into dark lip color (seen most recently in my Tom Ford Scarlet Rouge post), I felt lured into embracing a vampy lip for fall.  Because I love the Le Metier de Beaute Color Core Moisture Stain formula, selecting Castelo, a wine, burgandy, brown, and red hybrid, was a natural choice.
The formula is just fantastic…light yet full coverage, moisturizing yet long lasting…I have been happy with every lipstick I have bought in this line.  Castelo’s deep tone is simply enchanting…I am just not sure if I can stray away from my usual pinks, peaches and nudes for too long ; )
Scroll on for additional images and the “Bottom Line…”
Color Core Moisture Stain lipstick comes in a matte black cylindrical case.
Le Metier de Beaute Color Core Moisture Stain lipstick retails for $32.00.
Above: Castelo is a mesmerizing vampy color, mixing tones of red, burgundy and brown.

And now for some Castelo on the lips…
Bottom Line: There is no denying that the Le Metier de Beaute Color Core Moisture Stain lipstick formula is remarkable…weightless, full coverage, satin finish and long wearing.  Although Castelo is a gorgeous color in the tube and even on my wrist, it is a bit darker than I prefer on my own lips, however, if I had the fortitude to wear dark colors regularly, THIS would be my pick!  Its beautiful vampy sheen is a perfect compliment for this season’s rich hues.

I think you would look amazing in the shade Monaco. It has a similar tone but is lighter/and or brighter.

I'm sorry, I meant to say that mad asker was similar but brighter. Monaco is beautiful, but different.
