The new Decorte Beauty color collection (also available at Selfridges
I have been an ardent fan of Decorte Beauty (also available at Selfridges) since its Stateside launch nearly two years ago (see my comprehensive review of the foundation HERE) and am thrilled that the brand has extended its offerings with new color-centric products for cheeks, eyes and lips that harmonize innovative Japanese technology with stunning hues and formidable performance.
Today’s post is dedicated to some of my Decorte Beauty color favorites with swatches galore as well as a few springtime style notes (you’ll never believe what I’ve been finding at Abercrombie) and a peek at my shopping cart for the current Shopbop sale.
Kindly scroll on for more details, swatches and images of the products in action as well as the Bottom Line…

Decorte complexion perfectors
In terms of complexion, Decorte does an incredible job of offering high-performance formulas that even and protect the canvas while looking entirely natural and lasting the course of an entire day.
  • *Decorte Sheer Brilliance in 30 Medium (reviewed HERE): Truly a hero product and unlike anything else on the market, this liquid wonder bathes skin in moisture and SPF protection while dispensing a soft tint that evens skin and can be worn alone or as a primer. The anti-aging and skin blurring effects are divine!
  • *Decorte Soft Creme Foundation in Natural 354 (reviewed HERE): This luxurious cream formula offers buildable, medium-to-full coverage and a natural finish that beautifully lasts without creasing, pooling or migrating. I have found that Natural 354 is an excellent match for my N/NC 27 skin but can also wear Warm Beige 303 with equal confidence.
  • *Decorte Soft Powder Foundation in Natural 354 (also available at Selfridges and reviewed HERE): A marvelous touch-up companion to the creme foundation, this pigmented power can also be worn as a standalone foundation, imparting silky medium coverage with a demi-matte finish.
  • *Dip in Glow (also available at Selfridges and reviewed HERE): This luminous highlighter works equally well under foundation (for an initial glowing base) or atop (for strategic illumination on the high points of the face). The pearly tone works masterfully on all skin types and shades, creating a dewy effect that is ultra-flattering.

*Decorte Cream Blush Moisturizing Cheek Glow
For cheeks, the new *Decorte Cream Blush Moisturizing Cheek Glow is next-level weightlessness with a gossamer finish. The bouncy texture is a tactile dream while the buildable color blends into cheeks without creating the powdery texture often associated with traditional blush. Some of my favorite shades include:
  • BE 350: A medium beige pink which can even lightly contour on lighter skin tones.
  • OR 250: A vibrant peachy pink that looks incredible on the apples of one’s cheeks.
  • PK 850: A fresh pink with rosy undertones…universally flattering for a natural flush.
  • PU 150: An incandescent pale violet which adds an unusually lovely wash of color (much more natural on the face than in the swatch below) and can also used as an illuminator on the high points of the face.

*Decorte Eye Glow Gem Glossy Eye Color (also available at Selfridges)
Riffing off of the bouncy texture of the cheek color just discussed, the *Decorte Eye Glow Gem Glossy Eye Color (also available at Selfridges) is an endlessly silky formula with sophisticated luminosity (think satin, not glitter) and a buildable color payoff. More weightless than a traditional cream shadow, the Eye Glow Gems feel like nothing while looking like a veil of colorful light. In a range of pale metallics to rich neutrals and pinks, this is eye radiance for grownups that want the best.
Some of my favorites shades include:
  • BE 882: A shimmering pale neutral pink, excellent as a transition color to the brow bone.
  • BR 380: A rich and decadent neutral bronze–which is rare as most bronzes generally lean very warm–with plenty of color payoff.
  • GD 081: A luminous pure gold that’s not too yellow…brilliant as a transition color or overall wash of subtle color.
  • PK 883: A delicious mauve pink with major pigmentation and a super ease of wear. In the look that follows, I blended the shade all over my lid and along my lower lash line and then used a mix of BE 882 and GD 081 swept towards my brow bone for contrast.

Decorte brow and lip accoutrements.
For brows and lips, I am loving the *Decorte Refillable Eye Pencil in BR 302 and *Decorte Lip Liner in BE 302 (also available at Selfridges). The retractable precision points of both formulas work to line and define with a natural result that impressively wears for hours. The *Decorte Refillable Eye Pencil in BR 302 is a great ashy medium brown to add depth while filling in sparse areas and the *Decorte Refillable Eye Pencil in BR 302 is a must-have for those of us who wear nude lips on the daily. The formula is creamy and long lasting while the tone allows one to subtly enhance the boundaries of their natural lip contour without any telltale lines.

Decorte The Rouge High-Gloss Lipstick swatches
*The Rouge High-Gloss Lipstick (also available at Selfridges)
As its moniker implies, Decorte’s *The Rouge High-Gloss Lipstick (also available at Selfridges) is a seriously hydrating lip color with a juicy shine finish. Although translucent, the color payoff is still intense, giving lips a cloak of color in one coat.
Some of my favorite shades include:
  • *The Rouge BE 857: A neutral medium beige that creates a beautiful nude lip in a single stroke (worn in the images at the end of this post)
  • *The Rouge OR 250: A cheerful hybrid of peach and pink with plenty of reflection and zero shimmer. If your lipstick tastes skew towards mine (pinky peach nudes), then I urge you to add this to your collection once it comes back in stock!
  • *The Rouge SP 050: A glimmering glaze with a touch of gold for nourished looking lips. Try it over lipliner for a custom color experience.

Style notes.
// STYLE NOTES // I am having a moment with camisoles and flowy linen pants (blame it on springtime!)…it’s effortless and comfortable dressing at its best.
  • Lace cami in light olive: A veritable steal at $28, this cami is crafted of soft rayon viscose and has adjustable straps to get the perfect fit. It’s flirty without being revealing and can be dressed up or down with ease…I have it in olive and black and now am seriously considering ordering other colors while I can. In terms of sizing, it’s roomy but true to size (I’m wearing a small)
  • Cropped wide leg pants: I picked these pants up at Abercrombie in two shades–black and olive–and couldn’t be happier with the fit and function. The linen is lightweight and breathable, making the pants (which sit perfectly at one’s high natural waist) flow with every step. In terms of sizing, they’re roomy but true to size (I’m wearing a small)
  • Coclico Clidro Slides (also worn HERE): The extremely pliable suede hugs feet while feeling like nothing and the minimalist styling matches everything. Well worth the pursuit as I’ve been wearing them regularly for a year…so glad they’re still available!
// Shopbop Sale Suggestions // Currently, get 20% off everything under $500 and 25% off everything $500 or more with code EVENT18 (ends on 4/14). Here’s what my cart currently looks like:
  • Alice & Oliva Crew Neck Dress: In the perfect shade of muted lemon yellow, this homage to the 1960s will look great bare-legged (with flats) or with tights and a cardigan!
  • English Factor 2-Piece Smocked Set: I am loving a high-waisted skirt with a slightly cropped top…it’s springtime chic without being over the top.
  • Fjallraven Kanken Backpack: I’m seeing these minimalist backpacks everywhere as of late…lightweight and versatile, they’re a befitting spring or summertime road trip companion.
  • Levi’s Wedgie Icon Jeans: I just bought these jeans last month (not on sale) and am currently wearing them as I type this post! These jeans have a comfortable high rise and relaxed straight leg that is offset by a raw hem. And, there are no holes (rare!), I might add. Size up when ordering…I typically wear a size 25 and fit perfectly in a size 27 in this particular pair.
  • Free People Pavlo Dress: I want to wear this at the beach or the desert immediately…the color is fresh yet wearable and the easy flow of the lines makes it doable in hot weather.
  • Stuart Weizman Nudistsong Sandals: Pared down perfection, these sandals have a reasonable heel and nude allure that will make legs look miles long…so good.
  • Linda Farrow Cat Eye Sunglasses: I adore the style of Linda Farrow’s eyewear but always wait until there is a great sale as it’s definitely on the pricy side. This rose gold pair embraces the cat-eye trend while possessing classic lines that will have me wearing them for years to come!
