Greetings from Paris (follow me on Instagram for daily on-location footage)! Today, I am excited to share two new additions the Beauty Professor foundation library: the newly-reformulated *Giorgio Armani Face Fabricand Giorgio Armani Cushion To Go as well as a full beauty look featuring some current beauty on heavy rotation as of late.
Kindly scroll on for more details, swatches and images of the products in action as well as the Bottom Line…
Not quite the foundation library but a beautiful array of green books nonetheless.
New to the Foundation Library: Giorgio Armani Face Fabric and Cushion to Go
The return of the *Giorgio Armani Face Fabricmakes me immensely happy! I purchased this years ago (my perfect shade match is #4) and was entranced with its weightless texture and demi-matte finish that perfects one’s canvas while looking like nothing on the skin. Fast-forward over ten years and the formula is re-released with a few positive updates in the ingredients department. Still lightweight with a velvety finish, this foundation is excellent for those seeking buildable light to medium, pore-blurring coverage with marvelous lasting power. It must be tried to be believed and, despite owning well over 60 foundation formulas, I have nothing else quite like it in my collection!
Liquid foundation with light buildable coverage and a mousse to powder matte finish.Face Fabric blurs pores and imperfections with a natural matte finish. At first touch, the formula is a soft mousse, but as the foundation spreads across the skin it melts into a powder. Face Fabric has a second skin fit due to its 3D stretch technology which allows the formula to move with your skin leaving the complexion retexturized and smooth.

With Giorgio Armani Beauty’s venerable Tim Quinn…this man is pure delight.
The interior of the suite at the Sunset Tower Hotel….chic minimalism, no?
*Supergoop Unseen Suncreen: Weightless, skin smoothing, invisible and blue light protecting (raise your hand if you–like me–spend WAY too much time in front of a computer screen), this sunscreen is my latest SPF discovery and it’s exquisite!
The second foundation I am eager to introduce is the Giorgio Armani Cushion To Go. My lovely husband picked this up for me whilst on a business trip in Singapore and I was over the moon to get my hands on it! The best way of describing it is to imagine the Armani Luminous Silk Foundation with a lighter texture, buildable coverage and enhanced lasting power infused into a cushion compact. It provides light to medium coverage and has a soft luminous finish that makes the skin look its prettiest.
I am beyond thrilled to use this regularly and highly recommend it for those who are fans of the portability, convenience and multi-tasking wonders of today’s cushion foundations.
Currently, the only drawback is that it only comes in six shades that favor lighter skin tones (the darkest hue, 5.5, is my perfect match) and is only available in the UKand Asia. Hopefully shade expansions and increased global accessibility are on the horizon as this is one fabulous formula!
More than a cushion compact, Giorgio Armani’s My Armani To Go is a next generation beauty essential that brings together a truly advanced formulation, a sleek, travel-friendly compact foundation and a professional applicator. Providing supreme coverage with comfort and a silk glow, alongside sun protection, it instantly transforms skin with tailor-made, buildable coverage and a light, no make-up sensation.

Hey Rachel!
Are you able to share the name of the brand that your trench coat is made by? I'm obsessed with the lining!
Thank you!
Hi Isabel!
Thanks for the question…it is vintage YSL and I found it on The Real Real (linked in my story above). It was such a find!
Hope that helps!

Do either of the GA foundations have chemical SPF?
Hi Gail,
The Cushion Foundation does and the Face Fabric does not!
