A 12 Product Face Featuring the New LE Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerise Shades + A Brilliant Blazer Discover

A 12 product face.
I cannot believe it’s been an entire week since returning from London! I hit the ground running with an obscene amount of unpacking and laundry, hours of lecturing, shooting and writing and serving on an interview panel for a new faculty hire in my department on campus. I’ll sleep this weekend ; )
In the midst of it all, I’ve done a touch of light shopping (see the Style Notes later in this post for what I picked up) and also been carefully documenting the beauty (first, on Instagram) that is the the limited edition *Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerize shades that positively scream summertime: Star Gold and Rose Gold.
Today’s post is dedicated to said eyeshadow as well as 10 other products that comprise a clean and glowy 12 product face and a dash of fashion thrown in for good measure!
Kindly scroll on for more details, swatches and images of the product and style in action as well as the Bottom Line…

Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerize in Star Gold and Rose Gold.
I received the *Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerize in Star Gold and Rose Gold last week while visiting Charlotte Tilbury headquarters in London and am thrilled that these two shades are now readily available. Once set, the luminous and silky texture–which can apply sheer but builds to full opacity–resists creasing and fading, wearing flawlessly for hours. Star Gold is a neutral bronze-tinged gold with plenty of depth and dimension. Its more delicate counterpart Rose Gold is a pale gossamer pink with a touch of peach that is all sorts of sultry femininity.
While I’ve worn both hues alone as singular washes of color, my favorite way to don these shades is together, placing Star Gold all over my upper lid (and along my lower lash line) and blending Rose Gold to my brow bone. It’s an effortless look that resonates beautifully with the warmer months ahead and since the shades are limited-edition, I would run, not walk, to pick them up at your earliest convenience.

*Biologique Recherche La Grande Creme
Another new launch that’s been undergoing recent testing is the *Biologique Recherche La Grande Creme, which claims major innovation in the anti-aging space. I am already an ardent fan of the P 50 Lotion and PIGM 400 Lotion and am already noticing an increase in dewy firmness and skin density with a week of morning and evening application of this new formula. Will weigh back in at the end of  a full month of trial!
Official details below:
Cellular regeneration: protects the cells to preserve their longevity for a regenerating effect. Improves the overall water balance of the epidermis. Restructures and regenerates the dermis for a corrective anti-aging and anti-wrinkle effect. Intensifies cellular cohesion. Total restructuring and firming effect. Reinforces the skin’s barrier function against harsh external factors. Boosts dermal-epidermal interactions, which often decline with age.
A total innovation in the world of professional cosmetics, La Grande Crème targets all age-related phenomena. It acts on the cutaneous aging process to promote genuine cellular regrowth

Thick and lush yet instantly absorbed, the *Biologique Recherche La Grande Creme has a truly singular texture.

(1) Sunday Riley The Influencer Foundation #117 (reviewed HERE): I am still very pleased with this medium coverage foundation with impeccably clean ingredients. It looks exceptionally natural while perfecting one’s canvas and lasting the day. Additional shade swatches forthcoming.

(2) *Sisley-Paris Concealer #2 (reviewed HERE): This peachy apricot hue is my under eye saving grace during weeks when sleep is mournfully absent from my routine. It color corrects without creasing and subtly brightens everything with which it comes into contact. Well worth the investment for the concealer-seeker who has tried everything.

(3) Charlotte Tilbury Holywood Contour Wand (reviewed HERE): I swept this true brown liquid in the hollows of my cheeks and along the perimeters of my face for depth, sculpting and warmth…try application of this formula with a dampened Beauty Blender for a natural and diffused look.

(4) *Sisley-Paris Phyto Touche Illusion d’Ete (reviewed HERE): Sold out nearly everywhere whilst rocking major cult status, this plush bronzer is a fascinating gel-cream-powder hybrid that creates a believable veil of warmth on skin. I applied it on my cheeks to set my contour and impart additional burnishing.

(5) *Ellis Faas Glow Up Highlighter Powder #2: This powder highlighter casts a magic spell on skin, adding light and buttery radiance without obvious texture. I like to apply it to the high points of my face (upper cheek bones, center of forehead, down the bridge of the nose and chin) for an ethereal effect that looks healthy and fresh rather than overly shimmery.

(6) Giorgio Armani Neo-Nude Foundation Powder in 5.5 (reviewed HERE): I cannot get enough of this powder, which I purchase on a whim last week in Paris. As aforementioned in my original post, the formula looks nearly invisible in a swatch but somehow evens out the entire canvas without the slightest trace of a powdery finish. It simply makes skin glow…it must be tried to be understood and appreciated. I’ll try to include it in my next YouTube tutorial to show you what I mean!

(7) *Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerize in Star Gold: I applied this opulent gilded shade all over my upper lid and along my lower lash line for continuity.

(8) *Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerize in Rose Gold: I then blended this incandescent pink-meets-gold at my crease and up towards my brow bone for a diffused, ombre look that lasts the day without creasing or smudging.

(9) *Clé de Peau Beauté Intensifying Eye Liquid (reviewed HERE): With dual-ended brush options (thick and thin) and a slightly shiny ink black appeal, this indelible liquid liner is luxurious and high-performance. I swept it along my upper lash line for a winged effect.

(10) Tom Ford Fiber Brow in Chestnut (reviewed HERE): The best way to make brows look full, feathery and define, this brow formula ranks amongst my favorite, month after month.

(11) BY TERRY Lash-Expert Twist Mascara (reviewed HERE): I use this sublime mascara daily…two coats create the lashes of my dreams.

(12) Burberry Full Kisses in Rose Apricot (reviewed HERE): I recently rediscovered this vibrant shade and am completely smitten with its luminous coverage and hybrid harmony of rose, peach and pink. Offset with a demi-gloss shine, the color is entirely unique and the full coverage formula makes lips look voluminous. I think I’ll wear it again tomorrow.

Style notes.
// STYLE NOTES //
  • Vince velvet midi dress (on sale!): I bought this dress nearly a year ago and have worn it no less than 10 times, which has made it a fabulous investment. The brown-meets-green velvet drapes on the body with effortless appeal and the higher scoop neck makes it entirely work appropriate. Much to my surprise, I found it still available in all sizes (I am wearing a small) and on sale, no less.
  • Emerald green oversized blazer: Compelled by the dreamy green tone of this relaxed closet staple, I bought this in a size small without even initially trying it on! With a roomy cut and double breasted styling this blazer will be on heavy repeat over dresses and tees alike in the coming months. And if green is not your color, fret not, this blazer comes a spectrum of wardrobe-friendly colors!
  • Reebok Classic Leather Sneaker in Chalk/White: I picked up these sneaker on a whim (was in the market for a beige/white combo pair and came upon these by happenstance) and am in love with how lightweight, classic and comfortable they are. In my experience, Reebok runs true to size (a 7 fits perfectly) and this pristine pair is just at home with a dress as they’ll be with leggings or shorts.

Bottom Line: I hope you enjoyed this 12 product look featuring an overview of the stunning LE *Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerize hues; I implore my fellow warm neutral lovers to seriously consider Star Gold and Rose Gold!
Good things ahead, including specifics for my upcoming May 24th personal appearance and beauty event in NYC and a host of new product procurements…have a marvelous weekend and much more soon,
xx

Hi BP, Love the look of the CT Eyes to Mesmerize but do I really NEED them if I already have Tom Ford Cream Color for Eyes in Spice, Opale, Copper, Caviar and Platinum. Yeah pretty much all of them. LOL I am loving your praise of Giorgio Armani Neo-Nude Foundation Powder as I am in the market for a new setting powder. Think I am going to give this one a go! Thanks!
