In addition to the Suqqu swatches, I also can’t wait to give you a glimpse at the *Decorte Dip and Glow Highlighter and I rounded up a few key nude lip color formulas that I’ve been reaching for frequently…from matte to glossy, there’s an array of options to behold!
Kindly scroll on for more details, swatches and images of the products in action as well as the Bottom Line…
The soft baby pink *Suqqu Blooming Glow Primerblends onto skin, disappearing completely while leaving a brightening effect that makes the complexion look revived and healthy. It’s excellent for breathing life into a dull complexion while providing a smoothing base for the foundation to come.
Innovative on every level, the *Suqqu Nude Wear Liquid Foundationoffers buildable medium to full coverage that literally looks like nothing on the skin. Lightweight and breathable, the first time I applied a few drops (reflected in this picture HERE), I knew that this formula would have an immediate induction into my foundation rotation. My perfect match is #203 Warm Bisque, which is my match (for my @NC 25-27 skin) across all Suqqu foundation formulas and I am so impressed by the way it becomes one with my skin.
It must be noted that the bottle should be duly agitated before application (so that the suspended pigments are evenly distributed) and then only a single dropper full is necessary to cover the entire face. The foundation covers dark spots and imperfections and the finish is natural, taking on a subtle glow over time; I get 6-8 hours of wear time, even when I don’t set it with powder. Due to its liquid texture, one may be apt to compare it to the iconic Giorgio Armani Maestro Foundation (reviewed HERE) but I find that the *Suqqu Nude Wear Liquid Foundationyields significantly greater coverage and lasting power.
In terms of shades (depicted above and below), there are seven currently available, with hues ranging from pale ivory to deep tan skin (shade descriptions correspond with MAC foundation ranges):
002 Cool Shell: @N/NC/NW 15
003 Deep Cool Sand: @N 23-25
004 Classic Tan: @N/NC/NW 35-42
101 Natural Ivory: @N/NC/NW 10
102 Natural Beige: @N/NC/NW 20
202 Warm Nude: @N/NC 25
203 Warm Bisque: @N/NC 25-27
Although 203 Warm Bisque is my current match, I may also want to try the slightly more neutral 003 Deep Cool Sand and 004 Classic Tan (love that this darker shade exists in the lineup!) to mix in as summer approaches and my skin deepens.
All in all, it is the *Suqqu Nude Wear Liquid Foundation is the liquid foundation of my dreams and I can’t wait to continue to experiment with it in the days to come…if you love Suqqu and foundation in general as I do, it is a must-procure formula!
*Suqqu Nude Wear Liquid Foundation #203: I applied a few drops the the center of my face and blended outward with a dampened beauty blender for a seamless finish that eliminated the need for additional concealer.
*Decorte Dip in Glow Cream Highlighter: This brilliant new Decorte launch creates the prettiest pearlescent glow; the formula can be applied before foundation or atop of makeup, imparting a subtle reflection that’s youthful yet entirely grown up (in the best possible way). I put a touch down the bridge of my nose and on my Cupid’s bow for a radiant result.
Nike Air Huarache Sneakers…on sale (also available in black at Nordstrom): I’ve worn this ultra comfortable pair once or twice a week since getting them back in October and cannot recommend them enough…oh, and they are currently on sale!
Thank you for this review, I have been using shade 003 for the past week and love it even more than the Suqqu Extra Rich Cream Foundation. I bought a back-up bottle as well since I think there will be run on the products (or so I hear from the online store in Tokyo where I procure my Japanese cosmetics).
By the way, the complete official name on Suqqu.com is "Nude Wear Liquid" Foundation. I don't think "Drops" is in the name at all.
It completely disappears into the skin, unlike the Dior Diorskin Nude Air Foundation that also had a similar liquid formula and bottle with dropper.
