I am spending this last weekend of summer at a classic film festival in Hollywood. Inspired by timeless images of the past, I opted for a clean look that balances the sophistication of my environment with wearability suited for an everyday girl like me. I also have included a close up feature of the freshly-released Giorgio Armani Eye and Brow Maestro…a brilliant multi-tasker that can be used as a brow definer, eye shadow, eye liner, contour and root touch up…yes, please!
Kindly scroll on for a product breakdown, details on the new Armani Eye and Brow Maestro (+ swatches of every shade!) as well as the Bottom Line…

Additionally, while I was out at some meetings earlier this week, I stumbled upon this display for the endlessly versatile Giorgio Armani Eye + Brow Maestro; these highly-pigmented cream pigments are water-resistant and correspond with most hair colors, making them incredible partners for the brows and roots as well as adding color and depth to the eyes and cheeks. This product is truly a miracle formula and I have swatches of every shade! #4 Ambre is a gorgeous brown khaki that works on my brows and lids…I haven’t tried it as a contour yet, but it is neutral enough to work so I will be experimeting with it soon.

Bottom Line: I hope your summer has been as restful and wonderful as mine has…truly, the simplicity of a bit more rest, time to reflect, opportunities to organize and moments to enjoy the sun and a great cappucino have made the last three months a blessing and I aim to start my fall responsibilities with a new sense of refreshed focus! Today’s FOTD celebrates some brand new products as well as some trusted favorites…do you spy any that you know and love?
Great things ahead including the winner of the RBR Palette, my August Favorites video, a host of new product discoveries, haircare tutorials and a natural makeup feature. In the midst of responding to comments and emails…should be able to catch up on everything over the next few days ; ) In the meanwhile, I’ll try to keep the posts coming!
Have a beautiful rest of the weekend…xx,

**PRsample provided for review (the rest bought by me) however, as always, all of my opinions are expressly and unequivocally my own.
I just use a small tapered eyeshadow brush and blend this across my eyelid, diffusing up to the browbone. It is so easy and lasts so long without creasing or fading! A little goes a long way…this formula is concentrated!
This is a really beautiful lip on you. BP, is the Tom Ford foundation a real must have? Would you consider it a better buy than the YSL or your other faves? Also, have you seen or tried the Chanel VL Aqua powder foundation yet?
Thank you so much! I do love the new TF foundation…it is very hot today and, of course, it was my foundation of choice due to its ability to stay in place while still looking natural. I have been alternating between it, the YSL and the CdP…all are wonderful for their own reasons1
I haven't tried the new Chanel powder yet but will be keeping an eye out for it ; ) Let me know when you see it!

You swatched No. 6 but didn't include it in your comments about the colors. Did you have a recommendation for it?
