While at Barney’s NY last week for my Lipstick Queen Poppy King interview (to be posted soon!), I was able to swatch and procure a brand new base product from By Terry…the Terrybly Densiliss Concealer. I already adore the Densiliss Foundation (swatched + reviewed HERE) and have been actively anticipating the release of the concealer. Infused with anti-aging and dark-circle banishing ingredients, this serum concealer, which also purports to reduce under eye bags, is luxury cover up at its best.
Kindly scroll on for more details, swatches and images of the concealer in action as well as the Bottom Line…

This corrective serum visibly rejuvenates the skin by taking action on all the signs of ageing and fatigue.
It serves as the ultimate eye contour treatment, with a concentrated dose of anti-ageing and firming active ingredients.
Offering modular coverage, it effectively targets under-eye bags and circles.
Eyes sparkle with brightness.

MY THOUGHTS:
This is the first liquid concealer that I have embraced in a very long time! I generally gravitate towards cream formulas (with Surratt Beauty Surrealiste–reviewed HERE + Cle de Peau–reviewed HERE–amongst my favorites) but definitely see a utility in this more fluid incarnation, especially for the under eye region. I don’t suffer from intense darkness around my eyes, but as my work schedule continues to ramp up and sleep becomes minimal, my need for a veil of correction in the orbital area (to feign a more rested look) becomes apparent.
Applied with a velvet-flocked doe foot wand, this concealer is a creamy liquid…its vicosity prevents it from dripping but it is thinner in texture than a traditional mousse or cream. The pigmentation is fantastic, providing signficant coverage while still looking natural, and only a few dots along the lower eye area are necessary to banish shadows and fatigue. It doesn’t contain any obvious fragrance (rare for a By Terry product!) and, despite its ability to brighten the orbital zone, doesn’t employ the use of shimmer or light reflecting particles to achieve this effect.
Overall, I am really taken with this formula…Shade 04 Medium Peach is light enough to cover darkness and brighten my eyes but dark enough to be used as, I daresay, a foundation touch up. It blends like a dream and stays put for hours without fading or creasing. Yet another wondrous product release from By Terry!

1 Fresh Fair: Very light beige for fair to light skin with neutral undertones…this skews slightly peachy for the darkest of circles
2 Vanilla Beige: Light beige for light skin neutral to yellow undertones
3 Natural Beige: Light beige for light skin with yellow undertones…in some lighting, this shade actually appears a touch lighter (translating as less depth) than Vanilla Beige
4 Medium Peach: Light-medium beige for light-medium skin with neutral undertones…it’s peachy and does wonder for darkness under the yes. **This is my shade of choice!
5 Desert Beige: Medium-dark beige for medium-dark skin with warm golden undertones
6 Sienna Copper: Medium-dark beige for medium-dark skin with neutral to peachy-rosy undertones

Above: Lipstick Queen Silver Screen lipstick…each shade is a star in its own right!
To complete the look in the images that follow, I couldn’t help but use the gorgeous peachy coral Lipstick Queen Silver Screen lipstick (also reviewed HERE) lipstick in See Me. I plan on profiling all shades of this stunning formula in the very near future (likely to compliment my Poppy King interview) but in the meanwhile, couldn’t go without mentioning this gem. The formula is pigmented, hydrating and slightly shiny…it also comfortably lasts for hours upon hours without fading or migrating. So major.
Right now, Space.NK is offering a special promotion…through October 21st, when one uses the code DISCOVER20, they will get $20 off when they spend $75 or more online. This is the perfect opportunity to try some of this season’s new releases including the By Terry Terrybly Densiliss Concealer or Lipstick Queen Silver Screen lip color. Bottom Line: Both the By Terry Terrybly Densiliss Concealer and the Lipstick Queen Silver Screen lip color in See Me are marvelous additions to my routine. The creamy, dark circle-banishing formula of the concealer is incredible for smoothing and perfecting the under eye region and Lipstick Queen See Me delivers a bit of brightness to my normal nude lip regimen. Have you tried either? I wholeheartedly recommend both!
Hope your week is going well…much more soon including foundation (!!), skincare and even more lip products ;

**PRsample provided for review (the majority bought by me) however, as always, all of my opinions are expressly and unequivocally my own.
You are so beautiful ! Thankyou so much for the colour swatches , i really want to buy this but wasnt sure what colour to pick , have you tried the powder and blusher from the Densiliss line ? Just wondered what your thoughts were ? Thanks again i always read your blogs they are so brilliant xxxxxxx
Thank you, Mabel! I am in the midst of trying the powder and blush from the line but haven't worked with them long enough to prepare a review yet…soon ; )
Wow, great lip colour on you, Rachel.
I could use a truck load of the concealer. I'm with you, I usually gravitate to cream or stick formulas. I find liquids invariably end up creasing or getting cakey by the end of the day. I really didn't need concealer until I hit my 40's, but now in my 50's, it is a much bigger deal and getting it right is important. I've learned a lot by making mistakes and honing up on my application techniques. I actually use one of the little brushes that comes with OCC lip tars as my corrector brush. I call my concealer corrector because I do have dark circles and need something in the peachy range to negate the discoloration. Quick question for you, should you have a moment. Do you think shade 1 could work for NC20ish skin? I do need that peachiness, but hesitate at shade 4 since in looks too dark, but shudder at too light a concealer (that's such a bad look..got a few photos from the past to prove that point). Armani has this amazing peach corrector which many ladies with medium complexion rave about, also far too dark for my skintone.
Thank you! I so appreciate you sharing your concealer journey! I do indeed think that shade #1 could work for NC 20 skin…my mom is a touch lighter than me and she went with the shade #1 and it is perfect for her. I hope that helps!
Very beautiful. I have the identical question to Wendy — and a similar story. I've always focused on nice foundations and never splurged on luxury concealers in the past because I couldn't see much need. Who knew that as you age your under eye circles grow like the rings of a tree?! I've been considering the Surratt because it always leaves you flawless (however, I think you don't need that much help!) but this By Terry concealer is seriously tempting, especially with the SpaceNK discount. I also am a bit lighter than you, but not sure between 1,2 and 4. I have a weird skin tone, kind of fair olive, but olive in the sense of green undertones. I don't look good in tones that are too yellow or too pink, which makes life (or least the finding foundation part of life) hard. Usually, true light beiges or slightly peachy tones look best on me, so I'm drawn to 1 and 4, but one might be too light and the other too dark. 2 might be right, but it might be too yellow (I have a pretty yellow NARS concealer that cancels out red nicely but doesn't work under my eyes.) I can usually wear 020 in Dior, for a reference. Any recommendations?
Thank you so very much! I think that the #1 would be a great fit for your skin tone/type as well. For being labeled as a "#1," it is not super "white" and it has that beautiful slightly peachy tone to counteract darkness!
The Surratt is also a magnificent option, but I would deem it more of an "overall" concealer (hence, it is always in my bag!), since it also covers dark spots/blemishes. The By Terry is specially-designed for the under eye region and I am so pleased with its performance in that zone…it's marvelous!
A second WOW! See Me looks AMAZING on you. In fact, your makeup is flawless! Love seeing a brighter lippie on you.
I also love the wonderful world of foundation and concealer. It is so important. Thank you for your exploration and swatches.
Lipstick Queen Lipsticks are some of my favorite formulas. Poppy's Velvet Rope line is amazing! My next purchase will be her silver screen in MADE IT (the wine shade). You look particularly lovely in the last photo. The very best to you and thank you for this thorough post.
Ahh…that is tough! I love the Surratt for general concealing purposes; it works great in the under eye region but also is killer for a dark spot or blemish. The By Terry shines most brightly only in the under eye area, but what it does there is sublime. I would have to pick these two, since they are versatile and specialized ; )
I am searching your blog trying to find some things on Space NK for the GWP tomorrow. I am wondering what color you think would be best for me. I currently use Bobbi Brown corrector in light bisque and top with MAC prolongwear in NC20. I have really bad dark circles and am a NC30 skintone.
Thanks! I ordered #3 in the concealer and #7 in the foundation. I don't know if I am more excited about them or the GWP! ha! Thanks again for the help. I love how I can always count on you to respond to my questions….and aid in hurting my bank account. 🙂
I love all of these and really helps when choosing which shade to go with! I usually use a concealer as a highlighter so I would probably go with the #2 or #3. Both would suit a lighter olive skin tone. Really do like By Terry. Glad I came across your blog! Great to meet you!
It's a little bit lighter and more liquid in texture and the coverage is buildable to full. Once it dries down and sets, it does not crease or budge…so good!

Hello Maria,
Thanks for sharing your Lipstick Queen favorites and I also appreciate the compliment…much love to you!

Hi BP,
Another awesome review!
For undereye concealing, if you had to pick one only, would you choose the By Terry, Surratt, or Cle de Peau?
Thanks!
Hello and thank you, Kate!

Hi Mandy,
I would suggest #3…it is an excellent light beige with neutral to yellow undertones and is what I wear for most of the year. I hope that helps!

I love all of these and really helps when choosing which shade to go with! I usually use a concealer as a highlighter so I would probably go with the #2 or #3. Both would suit a lighter olive skin tone. Really do like By Terry. Glad I came across your blog! Great to meet you!

Hi, how is the coverage of By Terry concealer compared to the Bobbi Brown corrector/concealer? Thanks!
