Above: Beautiful makeup, a beautiful cause.
I am particularly beguiled by makeup when it contributes to a worthy cause. Such is the case for the *Protect the Wolves Eye Shade Trio (also available at Neiman Marcus and Net-A-Porter). Featuring three creamy and pigmented shades with delicate satin finishes, this melange of charcoal, taupe and deep green can be worn separately or together for an array of smoky neutral looks.
Emblazoned with wolf faces, the shadows are buttery smooth and impart an impressive amount of saturated color, even in a single swatch. I find that I get wonderful lasting power from Chantecaille eye shadows and this trio is no exception…simply a stunning way to embrace a green-tinged neutral smoky eye.

Above: Black Forest eye liner is a shimmering forest-meets-teal green.
Black Forest is so on trend for the green and blue movement we’ve been witnessing in beauty as of late and the sophisticated pop of color this pencil affords makes it well worth the investment. I like to wear this shade by applying it on my water line to add definition and drama.

For cheeks, the nude pink *Ella Cheek Shade (also available at Neiman Marcus and Net-A-Porter) is a demure beauty. Embossed with the face of a sweet and wise wolf, this matte yet creamy formula becomes one with the skin once swept onto the cheeks.
Ella is decidedly subtle (my absolutely preference when it comes to blush) for a softly flushed look that compliments a spectrum of makeup looks. If you adore pale pink blushes with no shimmer, this this LE gem is a must.

Above: Ella is a pale nude pink that looks so natural on the skin.
Above: A heavy swatch of Ella in direct sunlight. I will be so sad when the embossed wolf fades but at the rate I am reaching for this gem, I suspect it will smooth over sooner, rather than later.
Above: Pinky nude perfection.
Finally, the Lip Chic in Patience (also available in Neiman Marcus and Net-A-Porter) is a lesson in pinky nude perfection. Deep enough to add color to the face while staying light enough for a nude lips effect, the hydrating lushness of Patience is supremely lovely.
Although there is no visible shimmer, the formula imparts radiance on the lips and can adjust from sheer to nearly full opacity with a few coats…simply gorgeous!
*Ella Cheek Shade: Applied with a fluffy blush brush on the apples of my cheeks.
*Protect the Wolves Eye Shade Trio: I blended the taupe shade across my upper eyelid and along my lower lash line, added the green shade in the space closest to my upper lashes and a dash of the charcoal at the crease for additional depth.
*Lip Chic in Patience: I applied 2-3 weightless coats for maxium opacity and shine.
Above: I’m currently experimenting with a haircare duo from Profile Pro (used in the images below). The line created a formulation per my specifications and smells divine…love it so far!

Gorgeous wolfy collection. I am taken by that blush!
Isn't it a dreamy array of products? I have been using the blush nonstop as of late…the perfect muted hue!
