I have been eagerly anticipation the arrival of both the *SUQQU Extra Rich Glow Cream Foundationand the *SUQQU Holiday Collection 2018 since being alerted of their impending arrival earlier this fall. Available at Selfridges, these new launches are effortless to wear while infusing fresh color into one’s routine.
Consequently, I am excited to share swatches of my match in the foundation as well as everything in the Holiday collection with you!
Kindly scroll on for more details, swatches and images of the new SUQQU launches in action as well as Style Notes, an event invitation for my East Coast BP readers and the Bottom Line…
The SUQQU Extra Rich Glow Foundation and Holiday 2018 Collection on Location
I received the *SUQQU Extra Rich Glow Cream Foundation in #203 Warm Bisque and #003 Cool Sand, both of which will match my skin as winter progresses. This intensely nourishing formula offers instant medium to full coverage and a fresh satin finish that is not as immediately glowy as the name might imply.
Once I buff a pea sized amount all over my face (note: a little goes a very long way), my skin feels hydrated and looks even and perfected yet extremely natural; the radiance of the formula develops–at least in my experience–over the course of a few hours. My skin literally looks better and better with each passing hour which is pure delight in a world of foundations that have a tendency to “break down” with extended wear.
In terms of shades, my perfect match is still #203 Warm Bisque (@N/NC 25-30) but I anticipate mixing a touch of the #003 Cool Sand (@N/NC 20-23) into the mix to accommodate my post-summer skin as the cooler months persist.
Boasting the duality of a soft ethereal neutral veil and bold warm hues, the *SUQQU Pure Color Blush in #111 Yuuboshi and #112 Akeboshi deliver a warm wash of color that can be built for greater intensity. The finely milled ombre-inspired powders can be applied separately or blends together for a harmonious result that instantly brings life to the face.
The subtle #111 Yuuboshi is a melange of pale peach and champagne pearl and the vibrant #112 Akeboshi is a mix of radiant coral and tangerine that looks particular stunning on the apples of one’s cheeks.
Consistently a sought-after commodity, the *SUQQU Designing Color Eyes Palettesfor Holiday 2018 come in a triad of color combinations that continue to surprise and enthrall while being incredibly wearable. The silky texture and blendable satin pigmentation contribute to a flawless and crease-free experience that flatters a spectrum of skin tones and types.
The three shade options are:
#121 Gekkoouka: A mix of starry silver, radiant golden peach, lush charcoal and midnight blue.
#122 Hanaryuusei: A mix of fresh orange, pink champagne, warm sienna and deep aubergine.
#123 Hikariori: A mix of luminous gold, rich copper tan, peachy bronze and indigo blue.
The trio are unlike anything I have in my current collection and well worth the pursuit!
Extra hydrating and incredibly smooth, the *Suqqu Matte Lip Crayon offers fantastic color payoff and a creamy, lasting finish in neutrals your lips will love. I am partial to the perfectly pinky nude #101 and peachy rose #103 (of course) but those who appreciate a bold oxblood will be equally over the moon for the lush #102.
The crayons are retractable (no sharpener needed) and the formula is simply beautiful…a perfect companion to your pout, indeed.
Finally, as a friendly reminder, I will be in NYC this week to host a masterclass with Clé de Peau Beauté at Bloomingdale’s SoHo on Thursday from 6-7:30. Please consider coming if you’re in the area and your schedule allows…I would LOVE to meet you in person! RSVP details in the image above.
Last look.
