Hello-
We had chatted a while back about the GA maestro and we are the same shade of 5.5 and Nars Sante Fe. I am now looking to get the maestro eraser. I am struggling to find swatches online- someone suggested shade four. Have you had any experience with them. Also hoping to get the cover expert from BY TERRY and the seve de rose double serum- have you used this serum- Husband is travelling to hong kong this weekend and I'm sending a mini- haul list of all brands can't get here. Thanks Beauty professor
Hello Jo!
Good to hear from you. Wildly enough, I just swatched all the shades of the Maestro concealer today! I will make sure to post the images on my blog shortly, but I agree that I think you would be a #4. I currently own this shade and it is perfect for someone who wears the 5.5 or 6.5 in the Maestro foundation…a light to medium light beige with yellow undertones. The concealer is excellent–it is quite fluid, but provides lovely coverage to the under eye area. When I want to use a more solid concealer, I like Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage in SC-3 (I've been using this for over 10 years…nothing covers a blemish better!) or Le Metier de Beaute Peau Vierge Concealer in #2 (Medium), which has a silky consistency and can be used under eyes, or to cover any other imperfections on the face.
I think that the By Terry Cover Expert is exquisite (as reflected by many of my blog posts!) and #7 should be a lovely match for your skin. Unfortunately, I haven't tried the Seve de Rose Double Serum (but would like to) so I cannot personally weigh in on its efficacy.
I am so excited for your mini haul from abroad…what a treat! I hope my information was helpful and cannot wait to hear what you end up with…do keep me posted!

Thank u for putting up the swatches quickly- I'm looking at the 3 and 4. 3 looks 'pinker"- would that not be better for undereye area- worried 4 might be too yellow?
My pleasure, Jo! It is all a matter of preference with the under eye undertone…I prefer to keep things in the yellow family and #4 is certainly lighter than my 5.5 and 6.5 Maestro foundation, so it brightens up my eyes just fine. I agree that #3 is a bit beigy/pinker in tone…many women like to use a pink tone to counteract and brighten darkness and perhaps that is your preference!
I hope that helps…take care and keep in touch!
