Mother’s Day is nearly two weeks away, making this the optimal time to discover gifts that will show the mother or mother figure in your life how much you love and appreciate them. Because this is Beauty Professor, I’m excited to share 50 beauty-oriented gifts (with a little style and wellness thrown in for good measure) that are equal parts luxurious and useful and work not only for Mother’s Day but for other special occasions (birthdays! anniversaries! just because!) throughout the year.
Kindly scroll on for more details, swatches and images of my recommendations in action as well as the Bottom Line…
50 Best Beauty Product Gifts for Mom
// Body and Nails //
*U Beauty The Sculpt Arm Compound:
More toned arms with each application? Yes, please! This innovative formula tightens and lifts for noticeably firmer limbs, proving, once again, that U Beauty can do no wrong.
*Ranavat Sacred Rose Hand Cream:
This gorgeous hand cream is infused with rare rose petals from India and the rich yet easily absorbed formulation feels like silk on the the most dehydrated of hands. It’s so good, you’ll want to pick one up for yourself, too.
* Mila Moursi Firming Body Lotion:
I’ve long been a fan of this lotion and recently reintroduced it into my routine. The potent plant extracts firm and fortify the skin while emollient ingredients ensure proper hydration for the best of both worlds.
*James Read Sleep Mask Tan Body:
For skin that glows in the morning, I recommend this rich self tanner. It adds moisture and cultivates a foolproof, even, true bronze tan that doesn’t skew the slightest bit orange.
*Zoya Naked Manicure Rescue and Repair Kit:
Although a slick of color on the nails is nice, bare and healthy nails are a one-size-fits-all option and this kit–which includes two glossy clear formulations to repair and strengthen nails–brings out the beauty in one’s natural tips.
// Devices + Supplements //
*ZIIP (reviewed HERE):
My number one most versatile skincare device, this micro and nano current device improves the structure of the face (lifting, firming and de-puffing) while also improving the quality and texture of skin. With consistent usage, it’s the gift that absolutely keeps on giving. Use BP20 for 20% off.
*TriPollar (reviewed HERE):
Harnessing the power of radio frequency, this anti-aging device sends heat deep into the dermis to stimulate collagen production for smoother, bouncier skin with each treatment, which is entirely comfortable, by the way. Use Rachel -20 for 20% off.
*Pique Matcha Sticks:
For the tea lover in your life, consider Pique. These finely milled tea sticks instantly dissolve in water of any temperature and deliver pure tea blend with potent antioxidant benefits. I drink the Sun Goddess Matcha daily! Use BP5 for 5% off.
*HerNightly:
This delicious French vanilla drink features a harmony of chamomile, melatonin and ashwaganda to calm and quiet the senses before bedtime, resulting a remarkably restful night of sleep with zero drowsiness upon waking, all the while fortifying hair, skin and nails in the process. I am also a fan of HerPower and HerTime formulas! Use Rachel for 10% off.
// Skincare //

Our bodies do their best repair during the sleeping hours and this genius mask, which can be customized with serums that target your specific skin concerns, takes advantage of the downtime for brighter, smoother, and more restored skin in the morning.
*Fillerina 7 Days, 8 Recalls Long Lasting Intensive Treatment:

Gentle plant extracts work to cleanse skin without stripping, leaving it balanced and exceedingly clean. Everything in the Oriental Plants range is a skincare indulgence, indeed.
*Orlane B21 Renewal Oil:
The latest from the opulent French skincare house, Orlane’s B21 Oil harnesses the power of 21 Amino Acids from the Organic Pale Iris for firmer, denser skin and a reduction in fine lines. The lightweight oil texture nourishes, playing well with skin of all types.
*BioEffect EGF Essentials Skincare Set:
This set includes a full sized EFG (Epidermal Growth Factor) Serum to help boost collagen and elastin while slowing down the aging process along with a deluxe samples of the EFG Day Serum and EFG Essence. It’s a great foray into this beautiful Icelandic brand.
Agent Nateur Holi Glow:
Bouncy and radiant, this eye serum plumps skin while yielding a stunning glow that can also be utilized else where, including the high points of the face.
*Dr Janine Mahon Rejuvenating Breast Oil:
A gift for all women, this essential oil-rich formulation is based on principles of Chinese medicine to help with inflammation and monthly discomfort. I discovered it last year and cannot live without it.

For a bounty of good hair days, this serum is invaluable. With high concentrations of oleic acid, vitamin c and jasmine oil, this lush serum bathes hair in moisture and shine while nourishing the scalp and encouraging hair growth.
*Veronique Gabai Sunshine Face Oil:
One look at this iridescent pink bottle of hydration my mood is lifted…it’s even better on the skin for a delicate glow that complements a spectrum of complexions.
*Knesko Masks and Roller:
Family-owned Knesko makes the most luxurious face masks on the market; the gel based delivery system is stunningly effective so you can walk around the house and actually get a few things one while indulging in a spa-level treatment. I love the neck and décolleté masks, the eye masks are brilliant and there are even masks for the lip area. Heighten the experience with one of Knesko’s weighty rollers in white jade or rose quartz.
*MonuSkin Rosewood Reviving Mist:
For an instant refresh, this mist is divine. Rose, geranium, petit grain and sandalwood synergistically work together to revive skin and uplift the senses. It can also be used as a natural insect repellant! Use code Rachel20 for 20% off.
// Necessities //
*KUSSHI Signature Makeup Bag in Camel:
KUSSHI makes the best makeup bags in the business. The liners zip out for easy cleaning, the base is wide so it stands up on your countertop and the materials for the bags are premium and customizable. Fair warning…trying a KUSSHI may ruin you for all other bags in this category…it’s that good.
Wendy Glez bras:
The last year has really invited me to take inventory of the bras I actually like and will wear. Let’s just say that the list is extremely short! Ranking in space #1 is any bra by Wendy Glez, who sustainably produces her line in Los Angeles, using the cleanest, chemical-free material for a healthy experience with under garments. Her other clothing (loungewear! casual!) is just as exceptional. Use Rachelanise for 25% off
// SUQQU //
SUQQU’s Garden After Rain Pre-Summer Collection 2021 has just launched, making it the perfect time to pick up a few key pieces for the rare luxury makeup lover in your life.
The Classic Pure Color blush comes in two shades: the pure pink Yuribeni and golden peach Nichirinka. Both feature an ombre gradient for a bespoke wash of color that looks resplendent on the apples of the cheeks.
Next, there are two Signature Color Eyes palettes: the pink and rose toned Ayashizuku is a regal and radiant option and the mauve and purple Amaoto (worn in the images at the end of this post) is a fresh take on a smoky eye.
Finally for lips, there are two new shades of Vibrant Rich Lipstick: the neutral brown Youuchairo and the rosy neutral Natsufuyou. Both offer full coverage and a creamy, hydrating finish that adds luscious volume and depth.
The collection is currently available at Selfridges but, in case it sells out quickly (as is often the case with SUQQU), it will launch at Harrod’s and Liberty London starting on May 6th, 2021.
// FRAGRANCE //
*Parfums de Marly Delina Collection:
Delina is an exquisitely feminine fragrance with creamy notes of Turkish rose, lychee and vanilla and the range has grown to include Delina, Delina Exclusif and, most recently Delina La Roseé. Additionally, there are other members of the Delina family including body lotion, shower gel and hand cream to extend the Delina experience throughout the day. Delina is a Mother’s Day must and, as a special offer to my BP readers, I am happy to be able to offer a Delina mini shower gel and Delina vial box (with all three Delina versions!) with the purchase of any feminine Parfums de Marly fragrance (now through 5/15) upon checkout with code BeautyProfessor.
*Initio Parfums Prices Musk Collection:
For those who have a passion for musk, Initio’s Musk Collection is on an entirely different level. The intense blends have incredible sillage and the innovative interpretations of such a timeless note are intoxicatingly beautiful. Milky and velvety Musk Therapy (bergamot, white sandalwood and pink musk) and Rehab (bergamot, lavender, hedione and musk) rank amongst my favorite in this family and the Carnal Blends Initiation Coffret (Side Effect, High Frequency, Psychedelic Love and Atomic Rose) is another alluring route to experiencing this beguiling fragrance house.
// Foundation + Complexion //
Le Metier Peau Vierge:
This moisturizer, sheer tint and illuminator works on all skin tones (it comes in a range of shades), types and ages and can be a primer, wash of color or highlighter, depending on how it’s used, proving its versatility as both a gift and a daily staple. My mom and I don’t go one day without it.
Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder Foundation #7:
I recently rediscovered this foundation in my stash and forgot how much I loved its light to medium coverage and true skin finish. It comes in 9 forgiving shades and is easy to apply, even with one’s fingers.
*La Prairie Skin Caviar Foundation in Golden Beige:
Luxurious and effective, this foundation delivers sublime skincare benefits while imparting flawless medium coverage. It’s an investment, indeed, but one that you (or the person you give it to) will use to the last drop.
*Merit The Minimalist Perfecting Complexion Foundation and Concealer Stick:
This utilitarian complexion stick transforms from a sheer-to-medium coverage foundation to a full coverage concealer with a few additional passes. I love that it comes in a wide range of shades and can be readily blended with one’s fingers for a minimalist makeup experience.
*Clé de Peau Beauté Concealer (swatched and reviewed HERE):
The best of the best, this cult classic deserves ever accolade it receives. The creamy formulation covers darkness while resisting creasing and the vast shade range ensures a perfect match.
*Sisley Phyto-Touche Sun Glow Gel Bronzer:
Silky smooth and almost 100% texture-free, this bronzer looks like a true tan…it’s an investment piece with immense dividends.
*House of Sillage Blush Duo:
Replete with a peachy pink blush and champagne highlighter, this duo sculpts cheeks in a single stroke. The tones are universally flattering and make a lovely gift for a Disney lover or blush lover alike.
Westman Atelier Nectar Highlighter:
Sheer and blendable, this cream stick highlighter makes skin look positively lit from within without looking overtly shimmery. It’s a dewy natural wonder!
*BY TERRY Brightening CC Palette in Beach Bomb:
This palette features luminous shades of bronze, cool pink, warm pink and champagne to effortlessly sculpt the face, add a flush and highlight with a single product. The finely milled powder is sheer yet buildable and the light diffusing composition is a veritable filter for the face. I use this almost daily and will likely be purchasing a back up soon…get this, you won’t regret it.
*Jenny Patinkin Pure Luxury Makeup Sponge Duo:
No cleaner makeup sponge exists on the market. Produced without harmful chemicals, this pair is so pure that they can even be recycled. I use the large one for applying foundation and cream products and the smaller one for concealer.
*Lila B Aglow Hydrating and Setting Face Mist:
This clean mist adds a subtle glow to skin that is instantly enlivening.
// Eyes + Lips //
Natasha Denona Glam Palette:
This sophisticated set of five shades creates a neutral soft glam eye in seconds and the buttery texture of the shadows ensures crease-free performance all day. The first shade looks a touch compromised because Joey Elle put her finger in it right before I took this picture. It’s always real life over here!
Tom Ford Golden Peach:
I have gifted this shadow to friends of all ages and complexions and everyone agrees, it’s one of those universally flattering shades that performs like a champ (read: no creasing or fallout). The peachy gold tone is fresh and feels oh so right for the warmer months. I’ve used it for years and just picked up a backup…always have to have one on hand.
*Kosas Air Brow:
Enriched with nourishing Castor Oil, this gel holds brows in place for a glossy, laminated effect while fortifying them over time. The clear tone matches everyone, making it the perfect gift.
*Guide Mascara:
This tubing mascara (no smudging or flaking!) features an innovative applicator to keep hands steady (extra appreciated for those who may deal with shaky hands or mobility issues) and a jet black formula that builds volume and length in a single coat.
*Iris & Romeo Nude Power Peptide Lip Balm:
Collagen-boosting and ever so plush, this tinted treatment balm feels smooth and comforting while imparting a lovely wash of buildable color. Nude is a fresh mid-toned peachy beige that looks good on all skin tones.
*Au Naturale Su/Stain in Miami and Paris:
These lip stains are insanely good…clean ingredients and a moisturizing formula are balanced by intense color payoff and lasting power. There’s really nothing like them and I try a lot of lip products. The peachy coral Miami and cool, slightly pearlescent medium pink Paris are my favorites in this range.
Au Naturale x BP Collection (reviewed HERE):
Three clean and multitasking products–a pinky nude lip liner, baby pink lip gloss and rose gold cream—work together to create an effortless look that feels oh so right for the spring and summer months ahead. I am so proud of this collection, which I developed in partnership with au Naturale!
*House of Sillage Playful Nude Lipstick:
For the Disney lover in your life, consider this luxe lipstick–a creamy pink nude with some rich depth–housed in a limited edition case emblazoned with Mickey Mouse. It’s the fusion of nostalgia and elegance in a single tube.
Jouer Pink Champagne Liner:
This is one of my favorite liners of all time…the pinky beige tone is heightened by a shimmering finish that is rare in lip liners. Waterproof and wildly long lasting, this shade looks good on everyone, making it a prime gift.
*EM Cosmetics Soft Blur Velvet Lip Liner:
These liners do exactly what their moniker suggests…they define lips with a blurring coat of velvety color that lasts for hours and looks gorgeous by itself or coupled with lip color. The neutral color range recently added at the deep chocolate brown Foxy into the mix…try it with a light shade of lipstick (like Lawless Baby) for a flattering contrast.
La Mer Lip Volumizer:
Always by my bedside this lip gloss is essentially clear and wildly hydrating, making lips look their absolutely best. It also has a subtle vanilla mint flavor with a touch of sweetness for a sensorial experience.
Lawless Baby Lipstick:
I love all the Lawless lipsticks but the appropriately named Baby (a creamy baby pink) is my favorite. It’s light but not too light and looks fabulous over a deeper toned lip liner.
Charlotte Tilbury Hyaluronic Happikiss Crystal and Pillow Talk:
Infinitely buttery and plush, these shiny lipsticks add volume and moisture to lips along with a fresh wash of color. Crystal is a cheerful baby pink and Pillow Talk is a my-lips-but-better rosy nude with plenty of opacity.
*Somewhere Haute Neoprene Tote Bag:
This chic and durable bag holds everything while feeling exceptionally lightweight; it comes in an array of shades (shown below in green) and feels great on the shoulder. It also includes a coordinating zipper pouch to safely stow your smaller items.
The following images reflect many of the products (including the latest SUQQU Collection) in action…
// Style Notes //
Free People Midi Dress:
Springtime incarnate, this dress is made of ultra soft cotton and features a ruched bodice (no bra necessary) and a flowing skirt that can be dressed up or, in my case above, down. I purchased this in a size medium and there’s plenty of room.
KyteBaby PJ’s (me and Joey):
I love these pajamas! The short sleeve top and flouncy shorts are luxe and cloudy like with a classic cut (wearing a medium here) that is much more elevated than my normal big t-shirt to bed routine. Joey Elle’s pajamas are also by KyteBaby and feature adorable pink flamingos on a buttery smooth and breathable bamboo fabric. So good.
Nike Air Max Sneakers:
These tennis shoes are always a good idea. Comfortable and utilitarian, I have four pairs on constant rotation and recommend them for anyone seeking a great walking, running (or just plain, wearing) shoe.

Thanks!
Hi Carol! Thanks so much for asking! They are by KyteBaby and I have them hyperlinked in the Style Notes section where the pajamas are. Just in case, here’s a link: https://bit.ly/3tz1Kmx They run true to size! xx
