From a brow gel that creates a full feathery effect and a rich eyeliner that does not budge to high performance clean makeup discoveries and a lilac blush of dreams, this month has brought plenty of beauty newness to BP headquarters. Today, I’m excited to share a swatch-heavy look at some of these fresh formulations. Many of which have been on my face nonstop!
Kindly scroll on for more details, swatches and images of everything in action as well as the Bottom Line…
A Fresh Take for Spring: Newness from Clé de Peau, Sisley-Paris, Valentino and Vapour Beauty
// SKINCARE //
This month, I just finished another bottle of the brilliant Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream, which is a testament to how much I adore it (original fan since 2017). The emollient texture immediately absorbs, hydrating while imparting a gorgeous glow and the anti-aging benefits are immense. For deodorant, I’m enjoying the *TAOS AER Deodorant Palo Santo Blood Orange which smells like a luxe spa and is a healthy (read: no aluminum) option that actually keeps unwanted odor at bay. The *TAOS AER Lip Balm is also a decadent option, this time, for bathing skin in restorative moisture.
For hair, I ardently recommend the Agent Nateur x Dara Kaye Holi Locks Strengthening Growth Serum. I use this formula–which is rife with unique proprietary ingredients that you won’t find in any other hair serum on the market–1-2 times a week and have noticed such a difference in the silkiness and strength of my hair. I typically apply on a “wash day” and leave it on as long as I can (generally somewhere between 20 minutes and a few hours) before washing it out. It leaves my hair detangled and resilient and my growth, overall, has noticeably accelerated.
// FOR the BROWS //
As opulent as one would expect from Clé de Peau Beauté, the *Clé de Peau Beauté Eyebrow Gel is a sophisticated way to build volume and depth in one’s brows. Currently available in four shades (my match is 102), the gel applies smoothly and doesn’t smudge or feel “hard” once it dries down. Brows remain flexible and feathery with excellent shape and hold…an utterly worthy pursuit.
// FOR the EYES //
Slender, retractable (no sharpener needed!) and overwhelmingly pigmented, the *Sisley-Paris Phyto-Kohl Star Matte eyeliners continue to rank amongst my favorite ways to define one’s eyes with ease and lasting power. Most recently, the formula experienced a shade expansion and I have swatches of all six for you below (wearing Matte Jungle in the images at the end of this post). This is one of the only liners I own that never budges on my waterline…it’s silky smooth, creamy and waterproof and once you try these pencils, they may ruin you for all others, Can’t wait to create a look with Peacock next!
Shades are as follows:
1 Matte Onyx
2 Matte Tonka
3 Matte Jungle
4 Matte Gray
5 Matte Peacock
6 Matte Chestnut
// VAPOUR BEAUTY DISCOVERIES //
In the last couple of years, Vapour Beauty has updated its packaging and expanded its product offerings and I’m sharing an array of glorious discoveries from the brand, all of which are on my face in the images at the end of this post. Cruelty-free, organic and sustainably produced, I love that a line of this nature is available at Nordstrom (and it’s currently 15% off)!
For the complexion, the lightweight and soothing *Vapour Soft Focus Foundation (130s is perfect match for my medium olive skin) offers medium to full coverage and a diffused satin finish that blurs pores and imperfections while still looking extremely natural. The formula is great for all skin types and I find that I get 6-8 hours of touch-up free wear. Next, a healthy dose of the *Eclipse Bronzing Powder adeptly sculpts while adding warmth and I enjoying pairing it with the creamy and illuminating *Simmer Bronzing Stick: for a burnished depth. The *Aura Multistick in Intrigue is an excellent way to brighten up the cheeks with a pop of peachy pink color and it, as its name implies, can also be used on the eyes and lips for a monochromatic effect.
For eyes, the *Labyrinth Eyeshadow Quad offers a decadent quartet of finely milled hues including deep aubergine, intense pewter gold, cloud gray (divine for a 1960s look) and luminous charcoal. Finally, for lips, the *Vapour High Voltage Satin Lipstick is insanely good. Creamy, moisturizing, opaque and long wearing, this bullet of intense color (shown below in the peachy Murmur and true medium pink Au Pair) is a delight to wear and it always brings me joy when clean formulas “get it right” in the lipstick department.
// Glow-Getters //
I recently picked up the NARS Bronzer + Blush Duo in Casino and OrgasmX and am so glad I did. This duo allows for a sculpting and flushing moment in mere seconds and the both shades (Casino is a true medium tan and OrgasmX is a vibrant peachy pink) are pigmented and long lasting. Another hue on heavy rotation is the Valentino Blush Rosa Emozione, which I’ve had my eye on for some time. Often sold out, this finely milled powder is a luminous orchid pink that instantly enlivens the face while yielding a lit-from-within radiance. A truly “purple” toned blush that is easy to wear is a challenge to find but this shade is all that and more…I’m utterly in love. Get this while you can…you won’t regret it.
The following images reflect everything in action in afternoon sunlight…
// STYLE NOTES //
I paired this vibrant green crop top (which is double lined and effortless) and my trusty Monica Vinader Gold Choker with a classic pair of AGOLDE 90s Jeans (worn in a size 26) and finished the look with a wildly comfortable pair of Schutz Sandals. The mesh top immediately molds to the foot and the heel is short enough to walk around in all day without pain. Highly recommended.

Bottom Line: I hope you enjoyed this look at some fresh spring launches and would love to know what caught your eye. Do tell!
Good things ahead, including a fresh video tutorial, a major BP announcement and a host of new product procurements. Cannot wait to share.
Stay strong, seek wisdom, much love and more soon,
