FOTD…Black and Tan

Happy weekend, one and all!  Here is a quick FOTD with a black and tan (or, should I say, “nude?”) theme…

FACE:
1. Le Metier de Beaute Peau Vierge
3. Tom Ford Shade and Illuminate Intensity 01 to contour
4. Rouge Bunny Rouge Bronzing Powder in At Goldcombe Bay
5. Tom Ford Cheek Color in Frantic Pink on apples of cheeks
6. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Diffused Light (to be reviewed soon!)
EYES:

1. Cailyn Gel Liner in black (on upper lid)
2. By Terry Ombre Blackstar Melting Eyeshadow in Bronze Moon (under lower lashes)
3. Guerlain MaxiLash Mascara
LIPS:

1. Le Metier de Beaute Color Core Lip Color in San Tropez
2. Tom Ford Lip Gloss in Naked
HAIR:

Above: I picked this liner up at IMATS LA last month and am so impressed by its easy application and immense staying power.
Above: A close up view of Le Metier de Beaute Color Core Lip Color in San Tropez.  This is marginally deeper  and less pink than Dolce and Gabbana Mandorla; it translates as more of a true, warm nude.
Above: “Black and Tan” is clean and polished look…it takes me about seven minutes to achieve!

Thank you, Susan…they have taken a bit of time (and money!) to accumulate, but they are definitely multitasking workhorses in my everyday routine!

      Love to you, too!

I hate when you show lips I don't have yet!! Tell me more about the Tom Ford Naked gloss. I bought one TF gloss when I was at Fashion Island and I wish I'd bought more. I also wish they weren't so darn expensive.

I bought the Cailyn eyeliner in the green shade and it's amazing. I'll be reviewing it in 2 weeks.

      Hi Marcia,

You are too funny ; ) Naked is amazing…a perfect creamy pale nude that has remarkable opacity and looks good alone or over any other shade. It is always in my purse, which makes the exorbitant price a bit more bearable! I think you would love it.

I'm headed to Fashion Island later on this weekend to swatch the new TF sheer lipsticks…they should be on the blog soon ; )

Can't wait to read your Cailyn eyeliner review when it goes live!

      xoxo,
