LMdB Creme Fresh Tints in Mystique and Coral Nymph

This is a quick review of Le Metier de Beaute’s Creme Fresh Tint for Lip and Cheeks in Mystique and Coral Nymph.  The name says it all…designed as a creamy product that adds color to both the cheeks and lips, the versatility of this product is commendable.  Retailing for $28, this multitasking wonder lends subtle flush and luminosity to the face and applies sheerly without becoming heavy.

I bought the Creme Fresh Tint in Mystique, a very cool pale pink and Coral Nymph, a creamy peach…in light of the fact that I always gravitate towards nudes, pinks and peaches, this selection is not much of a surprise.  The consistency is smooth and creamy…almost like an opaque gel formula; it is not sticky or greasy and feels extremely light on the skin.

LMdB Creme Fresh Tint in Mystique is a cool light pink with apparent silver shimmer…this color starts off very pale but does get a touch darker with wear.

LMdB Creme Fresh Tint in Coral Nymph is a creamy pale coral with light golden shimmer.

Swatches in direct sunlight…their balance of opacity and sheerness is remarkable.

Swatches in the shade.

I like applying the Creme Fresh Tint with my fingers…lately, I enjoy adding a bit of Mystique to the upper area of my cheekbones, almost like a highlighter.  Coral Nymph over a bit of bronzer makes an excellent glowing blush and alone of the lips, it provides a perfect peachy sheen.  I tried mixing Mystique with LMdB’s Creme Gloss in Mum’s the Word (reviewed HERE) and loved the pale purple outcome.  I wouldn’t likely wear Mystique alone on my lips right now, as it is extremely pale, but perhaps I will try this technique in the Winter when my skin lightens up a bit.

Clockwise from top left image (smiling)…wearing Creme Fresh Tint in Coral Nymph on lips and cheeks, Mystique on lips (with a bit of LMdB creme gloss in Mum’s the Word as a base, Coral Nymph on cheeks and Mystique and Coral Nymph on lips and cheeks.

Bottom Line: The Le Metier de Beaute Creme Fresh Tint is a simply lovely product…the colors are wearable, the finish is lasting and the formula is kind to my sensitive skin.  As of late, I have been carrying both Mystique and Coral Nymph in my handbag and found countless ways to integrate these little gems them into my daily routine.  If you are a fan of utilitarian products, creme blushes and subtle, glowing color, then I highly suggest you give the Creme Fresh Tints a try!

Thank you! I notice that the Coral Nymph is more saturated in color than the Mystique.

      Take care,
