Happy August to you, friends! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is now open for General Access and, after featuring my early access suggestions HERE, today I’m sharing some timeless finds in skincare, fragrance, beauty and, of course, style that are in stock and well worth the pursuit.
Nordstrom Anniversary Sale General Access: What’s In Stock and Well Worth It
Kindly scroll on for more details, swatches and images of everything in action as well as the Bottom Line…
To begin, the gloriously utilitarian Riki Loves Riki Skinny Mirror: is still available and I cannot recommend it enough. This streamlined gem provides a range of perfect lighting. It makes makeup application a breeze and since using mine constantly (home, travel, videos etc!). Also, I’ve purchased a couple more as gifts for friends.
Nestled atop the mirror is the latest collection from La Prairie. Opulent on every level, the revitalizing *La Prairie Pure Gold Radiance Concentrate Serum,*La Prairie Pure Gold Radiance Cream and La Prairie Pure Gold Radiance Eye Cream. These synergistically work together to firm, lift, tighten and refine skin, leaving the canvas nourished and radiant. I’ve been actively testing the serum and my skin felt like silk after the first application! Also, recently integrated the face cream and eye cream into my routine as well. This luxurious trio of liquid gold–which is 100% refillable, I might add–truly takes skincare to the next level.
In terms of makeup, one of the stars of the sale is the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Essentials Palette. It was sold out but has been restocked as of publish date. This slender compact reveals a generous mirror. Also, it has three finely milled powders to bronze, blush and refine skin in seconds. The three shades are buildable with formidable lasting power; I love it when a single product effortlessly takes care of the full face.
For base, I’ve been loving a mix of the *Sisley-Paris Tinted Sunscreen Cream in Golden. It provides natural coverage and physical SPF30. It’s a summer staple that carries me well into fall! For a touch more coverage, my trusty Tom Ford Foundation Sticks in Dune and Sepia are always within arm’s reach. The cream finish is ever glowing and long lasting to boot…a true complexion classic.
Hydrating and voluming, the Charlotte Tilbury Collagen Lip Bath in Peachy Plump is simply divine for a wash of juicy color and it’s part of a trio for the Anniversary Sale, making this the ideal time to indulge in this lush formulation.
For hair, I adore the *Raincry Condition Brush, which features artisan craftsmanship and natural boar bristles for shiny hair from root to tip.
One of my favorite triads of the sale is the Tom Ford Soleil Blanc Set. I have long enjoyed the shimmering body oil which illuminates limbs on contact and lip color in Paradiso (reviewed HERE) is a rich and vibrate coral peach that looks good on all complexions. Most notably, the Reflects Gilt highlighter (reviewed HERE) is a personal holy grail for face and eyes. I’ve purchased at least 5 over the years and its price point makes this set a stellar deal.
Laura Mercier Caviar Sticks
For eyes, the Laura Mercier Caviar Sticks are truly special. The small bullet tip makes application a breeze and I usually use my fingertips to layer and blend shades. Also, my favorite hue is Nude Rose, a radiant peachy pink rose gold that has glowing color payoff and sophisticated luminosity. It’s seriously the easiest eye and wears without creasing for hours.
Giorgio Armani Beauty Lip Power Satin Lipstick
Also, I am excited to give you a look at the new *Giorgio Armani Beauty Lip Power Satin Lipstick! This satin finish, long wearing formulation provides strong color payoff in a single swipe and the thin yet comfortable composition feels weightless while providing significant impact.
In a veritable sea of lipsticks, this launch feels fresh and singular in nature…the texture and lasting power must be experienced to be believed.
So, I am wearing shades 502 (a bright peachy pink), 400 (a classic natural red) and 106 (a medium deep mauve nude) respectively in the images at the end of this post!
Some final touches in my late summer routine that are also available at Nordstrom include the *Augustinus Bader The Body Oil. These are instantly absorbed while deeply nourishing skin for hours and the radiant Maison Francis Kurkdjian Aqua Vitae Cologne Forte (reviewed HERE). It is like pure sunshine (with notes of bergamot, solar floral and musk) in an elegant canary yellow glass bottle.

Lounge Set and Silk Blouse
In terms of style, I am thrilled that this caramel tan set–comprised of soft ribbed pants and a matching cropped camisole–is still in stock. The material is flattering and forgiving (I’m wearing a medium in both). So, I broke up the monochrome look with the divine L’Agence Camille Belt Print Blouse (first discussed HERE), which I have worn a ton since picking up last month.
Speaking of heavy rotation, the brilliant Eliou Lotte Choker and Schutz Victoria Sandals make yet another BP appearance here. They, without a doubt are my most worn necklace and shoes of summer!
Cashmere Cardigan and Bandeau
Also, I recently picked up this Free People Convertible Bandeau. It has strategic ruching for a bra-free moment and topped it with an ultra soft pale mint cashmere Vince cardigan (it’s a smaller cut so I purchased it in a large), which will take me straight through fall and winter.
To take advantage of the sale, I integrated this crisp white men’s Rails shirt in a size medium for an oversized yet tailored look. Really, I could pretty much wear a cotton white button down every day of the the week! Also, I wholly recommend the L’Agence Sabine High Waist Zip Cuff Pants (I have a size 27, they run TTS). These are gorgeous camel-meets-khaki tone and feature gold details (the ankle zippers are so chic) and a stretchy, slimming fit.
To close, the Madewell Tee Dress comes in four colors and is delightfully oversized (I’m in a size small in Golden Pecan here) for ease of wear. Throw on some Audrey Hepburn-inspired Prada sunglasses and some sandals and you’re dressed in 3-seconds flat!

So, thanks for spending the summer with me here at BP…July was packed with events including Joey Elle’s 3rd birthday, some fun beauty-related travels and the beginnings of a home renovation (more on that soon) and I look forward to sharing August with you, too.
Good things ahead, including a fresh video tutorial, a new foundation feature and a look at the latest from SUQQU. Cannot wait to share.
Stay strong, seek wisdom, sending love and more soon,

Great post and thanks for the reminder that Nordstrom sale is almost over! I was at the Century City location a few days ago and I’m ready for seconds. Lol
