As a beauty editor, I often get asked about products that I feel compelled to purchase time and again and today’s post is dedicated to some recent skincare and beauty rebuys that made the cut.

Also, I am thrilled to show you the new *Wayne Goss The Luxury Palette in Pearl (so effortless and versatile) and share some alternatives for one of my holy grail soon-to-be-discontinued brow gels (why???!).

Kindly scroll on for more details, swatches and images of everything in action as well as the Bottom Line…

The *Wayne Goss The Luxury Palette in Pearl

Eyeshadow from Luxury Palette

First, the *Wayne Goss The Luxury Palette in Pearl has just launched and I am excited to offer you a first look at this exquisite creation. Rife with six  colors–4 mattes, one satin and one gleaming celestial topper–this palette is a dream for those of us seeking a fresh and classic eye that wears flawlessly all day. The shadows themselves are buttery and blendable while resisting fallout and creasing and I love that the shades lean neither inordinately warm or overly cool.

I am particularly smitten with the matte dusty rose hue and both of the satin finish tones which, in combination, create an extremely pretty glowing eye that can be intensified with the deeper shades per one’s taste. In sum, this palette is a veritable dream!

// SKINCARE //

Although I have a massive rotation of skincare at any given time, there are some key products that I use extremely consistently and the below reflects these staples.

Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream

My adoration for this cream runs deep and I always come back to it. A single pump gives me intense moisture, anti-aging benefits and an inimitable glow that makes my skin look (and feel!) healthy, hydrated and utterly bouncy. There’s simply nothing like it.

Agent Nateur No. 5 Deodorant (use AGENTRACHEL for 15% off site wide)

I am at the end of my first tube (it lasted me 4 months of daily use) and just ordered a second because I love this formula so much. It keeps odor at bay (really) while being completely safe and clean and the fragrance itself smells like a luxurious skin scent. Believe the hype.

Agent Nateur Holi Body Ageless Body Serum use AGENTRACHEL for 15% off site wide)

For radiant limbs that are nourished from the inside out, this serum-meets-dry oil is divine. My mom and I both use it regularly and are so happy with the results. Apply it post- shower to lock in moisture while fostering an ethereal glow.

Agent Nateur Holi Glow Ageless Eye Serum (also available at Agent Nateur…use AGENTRACHEL for 15% off site wide)

I not only use this on my eyes both day and night but appreciate the fact that it can be applied a top makeup (like you would a highlighter) for enhanced illumination. The ingredients are stellar and the bouncy (shimmer-free, I might add) incandescence it imparts is resplendent.

Le Metier de Beauté Peau Vierge #3

I am so happy that Le Metier de Beaute is back and that my precious Peau Vierge is once again available. This tinted moisturizer and illuminator boasts an encapsulated form of vitamin a (read: zero irritation) and an unmistakable, skin-perfecting radiance that looks stunning alone or under foundation. When it comes to PV, if you know, you know.

// BASE + FACE //

I have had some version of these products on my face most days this month making multiples in my collection a reasonable enterprise.

La Prairie Skin Caviar Foundation

My winter and spring match in this cult classic is Golden Beige and my summer match is Mocha (worn in the images at the end of this post). Creamy and nourishing with buildable medium-to-full coverage potential, this skincare-infused foundation never disappoints. So many of my Beauty Professor readers have found great joy and satisfaction with this formula…let me know if you’re one of them!

Clé de Peau Beauté The Concealer in Buff

Perennially under my eyes, this concealer is divine; the coverage is stalwart (a little goes a long way) and resists creasing while adding a creamy camouflage to darkness and imperfections.

Sisley Phyto-Touche Bronzer

Ahh, this bronzer is in a class by itself. The gel-powder texture instantly melts into the skin, creating a texture-free true tan effect that never degrades to orange. Fair warning: this opulent bronzer may ruin you for all others!

Nude Envie Enamor Blush

This radiant peachy pink blush looks so pretty on the apples of the cheeks. The powder blends like a dream (I focus application on the apples of my cheeks) for a youthful flush.

Le Metier de Beauté Creme Fresh Tint in Mystique

When a touch more radiance is required, I adore this creamy tint that combines baby pink color with a glowing finish. Tap it onto the apples of the cheeks for a tender and cherubic effect.

Tom Ford Illuminating Duo in Reflects Gilt

Still my favorite highlighter after so many years, this powder pairing creates an almost glossy effect on the face the the gold and rose gold hues add a touch of color and depth rather than overt shimmer. Expensive, yes, but a single palette lasts me well over a year of regular use. I wish to never be without it!

Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Setting Powder 6.5

This powder blurs fine lines and pores and adds a skin-evening veil of perfection without looking the slightest bit powdery. It’s my unequivocal touchup formula of choice and I’ve run through multiple compacts over the last few years.

// EYES + LIPS //

Although I may have first tried some of these products as press samples, I have since picked up backups for myself and also purchased them as gifts for those I love this month.

Laura Mercier Caviar Eye Stick in Nude Rose

This is, by far, my favorite shade in the iconic Caviar Eye Stick and every time I wear it, someone asks about it! The rose gold hue adds a gorgeous wash of color and shine and doesn’t budge. I like to apply it with my finger tips and blend outwards for a diffused look.

*Claudio Riaz Couture Black Eyeliner

This retractable (yes, please!) black liner features ultra intense pigments for smooth application and smoldering waterline experience. It stays in place, even when my eyes decide to water (thanks, allergies!).

LAWLESS One and Done Mascara

I have run through my first tube of this mascara and am still smitten with how this clean formula creates false lash-level volume and length without smudging. I also picked up tubes for my mom and sister-in-law as we share similar expectations with mascara and know they will love it as much as I do.

Huda Beauty Muted Pink Lip Contour

This liner is a beautiful mauve pink with a long lasting and creamy finish. I wear it with my BP x Au Naturale LA Lip Stain and it’s a winning combination.

Lancome Mars Lip Liner

I am so taken with this liner; it’s a slightly shimmering wine-meets-nude hue that makes over-lining a breeze and it pairs well with all of lipsticks in my current rotation. There is not a lot of talk online about this particular shade (I purchased mine on a whim at Ulta) but trust me when I say that if you see it, you should snap it up. You will happy that you did!

BY TERRY Hyaluronic Hydra-Balm in Nudissimo

This tender peachy coral nude features a high concentration of hyaluronic acid for deep moisture and a semi-shiny finish that makes lips look lush.

LAWLESS Lipstick in Platinum

The lightest shade in the LAWLESS lipstick lineup, this cool toned beige works so well to reduce the depth of a too-dark lipstick and looks killer over a darker liner for full and pouty 1960s lips.

Charlotte Tilbury Crystal Kiss

This plush balm is a fresh balance of pink and nude with a transparent finish for hydrated lips that look polished and pretty.

BP x Au Naturale LA Lip Stain (reviewed HERE)

I cannot stop wearing this shade! This quintessential peachy pink cream enlivens the face while adding instant volume and moisture to the lips. It has 100% clean ingredients and a lasting finish that wears evenly for hours on end.

// BROWS //

I have been a massive fan of the Tom Ford Fiber Brow Gel for years but it seems like it may be getting discontinued (sold out or nearly sold out at most retailers) so I’ve been on the hunt for a suitable replacement for the fullness, tint and volume and a feathery hold that this exemplary formula imparts. Some worthy candidate (all three come in a wide range of shades) include…

  • Kosas Airbrow Dark Brown: Rife with brow enriching castor oil to strengthen brow hairs and plant fibers to build volume, this tinted gel builds my brows in seconds and stays in place all day.
  • Benefit Gimme Brow Dark Brown: This is my first Benefit product in years and I rather love it! Although its ingredients list is not as nourishing as the Kosas, the effects are undeniable. The creamy formula adds volume and masterful hold in a single pass.
  • *FitGlow Beauty Brow Gel Dark Brown: The deepest in tone of this particular trio, the latest from FitGlow Beauty (should be launching any day now) adds beautiful dimension and fullness to the brows and keeps things in place without feeling stiff. It’s simply lovely!

The *Maison Francis Kurkdjian Baccarat Rouge 540 Extrait

Finally, *Maison Francis Kurkdjian Baccarat Rouge 540 Extrait is a new addition to my fragrance wardrobe. I have repurchased the original Baccarat Rouge 540 multiple times since its launch in 2105 but have been curious about this intensified version and am grateful to finally be trying it! Like the original, this iteration is still a “skin scent” of epic proportions but I find the saffron and almond notes to be more pronounced along with a burnt sugar sweetness that is equal parts alluring and addictive. It’s similar to BR540 yet somehow vastly singular in its execution, making it an instantly adored inclusion in my lineup that somehow brilliantly avoids redundancy.

// STYLE NOTES //

  • Free People Shirtdress (also available in more sizes and colors at Free People): Crafted of super soft jersey knit, this dress is equal parts casual and sophisticated and its effortlessness guarantees I’ll have it on heavy rotation well into the fall and winter months.
  • Eliou Choker: I have received a constant stream of questions about this necklace ever since purchasing it a month or so ago. It’s weighty with 14K gold plating (I still take it off in the shower, just in case) and the magnetic clasp is pure genius. Highly recommended.
  • Kitten Heel Sandals: These chic sandals are certainly the “orangest” accessory I’ve ever owned and I love them. They run TTS (I’m wearing a 7 1/2), come in an array of colors and instantly elevate an outfit. Oh, and they’re under $40!

Bottom Line: I hope you enjoyed this look at some of my rebuys for the summer. Also, I would love to know what caught your eye as well as what your repurchasing musts are as of late…do tell.

Good things ahead, including some new finds for the General Access portion of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, a fresh video tutorial, a haircare centric feature and a host of new product procurements. Cannot wait to share!

Stay strong, seek wisdom, much love and more soon,

xx

    Hi. I was just wondering if you use the rich cream alone at night or layered. I’m having a hard time giving up retinol or a chemical exfoliant
    Thank you.

    Love the dress, but now it is sold out! Should have read your post sooner before they were all gone. 😉
