Tom Ford Cheek Color in Frantic Pink

My love affair with the Tom Ford line continues…from his stick foundation to his exceptionally creamy lip color, I have yet to be disappointed with my selections thus far!  Last month, I chose a new blush, Frantic Pink, which is a light shimmery rose.  One of the most significant characteristics of the Tom Ford Cheek Color is the supreme pigmentation…there is so much color in a single swipe of this product!
Above: Luxe packaging to be expected from the TF line.
Retailing for a hearty $55.00, this pale blush was an obvious choice for me, due to the fact that I tend to have a slightly heavy hand when applying cheek color…I need to start light to keep it looking natural!!
Above: The ingredients in the Tom Ford Cheek Color have in no irritated my extremely sensitive skin!
Above: The blush is housed in a glossy brown compact with gold accents…it is weighty but portable and has a “sturdy” feel that makes me feel OK about it bouncing around in my cosmetics bag ; )

Above: The front latch to the compact…this is surprisingly easy to open while simultaneously staying securely fastened when closed.

Above: Despite its ultra-glossy finish, this compact does not scratch easily.

The blush itself is very finely milled; this enables a second skin-like satin finish that just melds with the apples of one’s cheeks.  It isn’t powdery, doesn’t oxidize and lasts 4-6 hours without requiring a touch up.  There is no detectable fragrance (thank you!!!).  I would deem Frantic Pink a pale rose shade that would work on both cool and warm skin tones.  There is a slight shimmer, but the intense pigment prevents it from getting “frosty.”

For reference, the next few images reflect swatches of all Tom Ford Cheek Color Shades in the permanent collection..

Above and below: Tom Ford Frantic Pink applied to the apples of my cheeks (in natural daylight).

Bottom Line: This blush has carved out a permanent home in my makeup bag…it is glowing, pigmented, excellent for touchups and friendly to my sensitive skin.  Frantic Pink has made me excited to try the slightly darker, more coral Love Lust when the spring and summer roll around; in the meanwhile, this pale pink luminosity is just perfect.

      Hello Susan!!

Your comments always make me smile ; ) I am so glad you liked the review…Tom Ford counters are few and far between in this country of plenty, so I thought I would try to make it a little easier for those who have to order as opposed to picking out their shade in person. Next goal…to swatch these shades in outdoor sunlight and shade (my favorite, most accurate lighting).

      Take care and talk soon…xoxo,
