Weekend FOTD + Style Spotlight, Plus a Glimpse at the New MILK Holographic Stick in Mars

I hope that last few days of life have been wonderful for you! The warm weather and holiday weekend (to say nothing of being on the other side of tax season) has lifted my spirits and I am looking forward to some family time before heading into a busy week of teaching and travel. Happy Passover and Blessed Easter to all those who celebrate. Consequently, I am excited to share a weekend FOTD with a special glimpse into some new style elements I’ve picked up this month…sundrenched and relaxed, it’s a springtime joyance.
Kindly scroll on for more details, swatches and images of the images in action as well as the Bottom Line…

Skin + Base.
// SKIN + BASE //
  • *Le Metier de Beaute Longevity Cream: My new skin care obsession, this opulent cream smoothes and repairs with every application while imparting a delicate light-reflecting glow. It’s utterly divine…more details forthcoming!
  • *Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation #6 (reviewed HERE): A classic on heavy rotation in my foundation routine, it offers excellent coverage and lasting power and #6 is a spot on match for my light olive NC 25 skin.
  • *Sisley-Paris Phyto Cernes Eclat (reviewed HERE): Next level color correction in a diminutive tube, this concealer is truly superb; the peachy tone banishes dark circles with nary a crease in sight.
  • Maison Francis Kurkdjian Baccarat Rouge 540 (reviewed HERE): Words cannot adequately describe the wondrous impact this fragrance has on my life; the scent is transcendently beautiful and wholly unique and, in addition to Byredo Mojave Ghost, I would consider it one of my true signature scents. To try it is to love it.
  • Miracle Body Transformer in Glow (reviewed HERE): Every time I wear this on my arms and legs, someone asks me what type of lotion I am using; this brightening and blurring formula imparts a subtle warm glow that makes limbs look their best, especially in the warmer months ahead. I just ordered a back up for both my mom and myself…we adore it that much.

The eye look.

Nike Air Max LD-Zero

  • Vince Velvet Tank Dress (also available at Vince and Bergdorf Goodman): Majorly on sale and completely timeless, this velvet dress is the perfect cut and length; it’s lovely for spring and can also be topped with a sweater for cool evenings. I find that this runs true to size…I purchased a small and it’s still roomy enough for a big dinner ; )
  • Nike Air Max LD-Zero (also available at Nike): Brand new and entirely fierce, these redesigned Air Max tennies have sleek lines and the most cushiony feel ever; they need absolutely no breaking in and I will be styling the up (like with the dress below) and down (with leggings for travel next week) like crazy.
  • New Seth Wegter Bag: My brother just made this delectable bag and I had to share a glimpse in this post…I am sure it will be making an appearance on his website soon!

Bottom Line: I hope you enjoyed this FOTD and style spotlight and would love to know what may have caught YOUR eye..do tell! Also, how is your spring going thus far?
Good things ahead, including my recommendations for the Sephora VIB Sale (starting 4/18 for VIB Rouge members!), a skincare video, an updated beauty gadgets feature and a host of new product procurements; I am also headed into a bit of travel so lots of sharing whilst on location ; )
xx and have a blessed rest of the weekend,
