A Holiday Night Out FOTD Plus Boxing Day Sales I’m Shopping…

Makeup for an evening out.
A few days ago, I got ready to attend my husband’s holiday work party and took the opportunity to craft and document an easy evening look, detailed in the images that follow. If you like dewy and even skin, a warm, slightly smoky eye and a peachy nude lip as much as I do, then this post is for you!

Kindly scroll on for more details, swatches and images of the look in action as well as my curated guide to the Day-After-Christmas Sales (most of which are currently live!) and the Bottom Line…
The makeup look.
Products used.
Swatches of everything in order (bottom is U Beauty Resurfacing Compound and top is *Kosas Cosmetics Wet Lip Oil in Dip) in direct sunlight.
The eye look.
Style notes.
  • *Hale Bob Socorro Blazer Dress: I adore this dress for its timeless styling…it’s short enough to be youthful and celebratory yet roomy enough to be office appropriate. I’ll be be wearing this for years to come.
  • CC Corso Como Denice Pump: I have this pump in two colors and wear them constantly…they’re comfortable and the 2-inch heel is a delightfully rare bird in this flock of ultra high styles.

Last look.

Bottom Line: I hope you enjoyed this post and would love to know what caught your eye…do tell!
For all who celebrate one or the other (or both!), I wish you a truly Merry Christmas and wonderful Hanukkah as well as blessings in the new decade to come.
Good things ahead, including a New Year’s Eve look video tutorial, my Best of 2019 video and blog post and a host of new product procurements…cannot wait to share!
xx and more soon,

I'm impressed by the warm, soft, glowing make-up look you created! And thanks for the shoe tip, checking those out too!

I think my favorite part of this post is the "bathroom counter". You are a "real" girl. I knew it/ I just knew it. 🙂 Thanks for all the effort in posting. I have found so many new companies in reading/ watching your post. Not to mention the joy in watching your adorable baby girl grow up. All the BEST in 2020. Happy New Year!
