A No-Makeup Makeup Look with Dew Skin and Other BEAUTYCOUNTER Favorites

I love a good “no makeup” makeup look. The key is to find products that do a subtle yet effective job of perfecting the skin while still looking extremely natural. As you well know, dear readers, this is not as easy as it sounds!

I recently tried a full range of complexion products from BEAUTYCOUNTER. With its new Dew Skin at the core of my process, found a way to quickly and effortlessly create a fresh, glowing, real skin result with just 7 products.

Kindly scroll on for my full process as well as sunlit swatches and the Bottom Line…

Dew Skin

// DEW SKIN //

Fortifed with clean ingredients. It includes black current seed oil, peony root and vitamin c–that hydrate and perfect. The sheer tinted moisturizer has a plush and nourishing texture that evens instantly while adding and radiance to the skin. *Dew Skin also features SPF20 100% mineral protection and a buildable coverage. Also, in my experience, was almost medium in nature. I tried both shades 4 medium and 5 tan and found that 4 (worn in the images throughout this story) is my best match, though I might bump up to 5 by mid-summer.

What I love most about *Dew Skin is how natural it looks on the skin. My unevenness was significantly reduced while my real skin had the chance to shine through. It wears evenly and feels comfortable and lightweight on my skin. This is the case even over the course of a long hot day. I can see this formula being a go-to for “no makeup” makeup moments this summer!

// THE REST of the LOOK //

To create the rest of the look, I applied the glowing bronze *Illuminating Highlighting Cream in Bronze Glow all over the perimeters of my face. I also added it in the hollows of my cheeks to create a warm radiance and depth. It’s a smooth and creamy formula that blends out with a second skin effect. Then, I tapped the apricot-toned *Cream blush in Paloma on the apples of my cheeks for a lit-from-within flush. Next, I used my ring finger to apply the a touch of the *Skin Twin Concealer in Tan 02. It helped to banish any remaining darkness in my orbital area. The *Dew Skin actually did a great job of getting rid of most of it. I tapped the *Lid Glow in Luster, which gives a 1960s-inspired pink champagne wash of color that brightens without budging.

I brushed a touch of the *Brow Gel in Medium, which imparts color and hold for full and feathery brows and and finished the look with a slick of the *Sheer Genius Lipstick in Lily, a luminous cool toned medium pink. The entire process took under five minutes and the resulting look–glowy natural skin with a subtle flush–speaks for itself!
